Plastic Surgery

SurgeryPeople like to be liked, idolized, and to be in the "in crowd"! As a result, we try to correct the imperfections in our body that God gave to us! We are not happy with what we have, and so, what do we do???? We go under the knife and have plastic surgery!!!! Who tend to do this? Mostly women, but now, teen plastic surgery is on the rise! This is an expensive surgery, and it is not covered by insurance because it is for cosmetic reasons. Is that good or bad? I guess, it is good, because if it is covered by insurance, can you imagine how many people will be in line in the plastic surgeon's office? Then, everybody will all look alike and gorgeous!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! That is good then! Ya, right!!!!! I do not know, but that is vanity! Vain! Vain! Vain!!!! Then we will be all living in a make believe world!!! No ugly people, only beautiful, gorgeous people! I don't know about that! Let us look at teens going through the knife. What is the main reason? Some want it because they are being teased at and ridiculed for having ears that are so big, nose like a witch, or even big breasts that are so big for their bodies! Do you think this is a good enough reason to do the surgery?? After all, these teens want to leave a normal life and not be laughed at, or harrassed by their peers! The parents are quick to respond to their teen's wishes. After all, they want them to live happy and at peace! Being looked at and teased constantly is not also good! It is too demoralizing to these teens!!! These teens that go through the surgery can do it because their parents have money to spend or throw away!! But how about the teens whose parents do not have the finances?? That is too bad!!! They were born poor!!! Oh, oh!!! That is what is wrong with our society.... there is the rich, then there is the poor. To me, these teens should leave their looks what nature gave to them. It is not only the outward appearance that is pleasing to people, but the inside. Your inside and how you handle yourself is more important! Not your outward appearance!!! Beauty outside will wilt and die after a while, but your inner beauty will stay forever!!! Teens and adults should remember this!!! Amen!!!!How about the adults? It looks like that everywhere you see a celebrity, their breasts have been enlarged or made to order. Some are soo large, that I do not know how they can carry it and do not break their back!!!! Phew!!! They have their noses fixed, their lips made fuller and wrinkles filled! That is why, look at the celebrities that have botox injected near their eyes, and lips. Don't they all look alike now???? Take a look at Priscilla Presley and Joan Rivers and others. When I saw them, their faces, and look are exactly the same!!!! Do you see??? Hmmmm.... They cannot even smile for fear that their faces will be mutilated!!! Well, I guess they are always in the limelight, so they think they have to spend thousands and thousands of money to get their wrinkles gone. Does it work for them? I guess because in show business, once you are older, you are kicked out of becoming a leading lady or a spokesperson or whatever!!! But how come, the men are still in the leading category even though their faces are worn out and wrinkly??? These old men are the leading man, and the leading lady is much younger than he is!!! Go figure!!! Isn't that discrimation against the ladies??? Does anyone agree with me??? Why is such a difference between men and women? Plastic surgery is not for everybody. In my opinion, it should only be performed if it is medically necessary, not because you want a bigger "boobs", bigger fanny or bigger lips! Or maybe, the public should be blamed for this obsession with plastic surgery! After all, we all want to see on magazines, newspapers, television and movies, bright, beautiful, young, fresh faces!!! We are all obsessed with the outward appearance of people that we forget that beauty is not only skin deep!!! It is much, much, more than what you see in your naked eye!!!!!
