Airlines

What are we going to talk about airlines? Plenty!!! First, their sales tactics. Oftentimes, they will announce a sale for a certain place. You try to call them and the answer will be, that the seats are all sold out! Why is that? They probably have only one or two seats left with that inexpensive tag price! Look at that, I did not say cheap! I know, because there is nothing cheap with airline fares, sale or no sale!!! Is that right or not? They have only one or two seats available! This is just like in the grocery stores, where they have a sale, you go in only to find out that the item is all gone! They will tell you, the sale is good until the supply is gone! Some stores are good, a rain check is given out. Am I comparing apples and oranges? Maybe, but technically, I think, it is the same. How come we do not get any rain checks from an airline company? Hmmm... that is a thought. Has anyone tried to get a raincheck? I wonder if you try, what will happen? It will be worth a try. All they can say is no. It does not hurt to ask, is it not?Then the airlines have the audacity to charge for each luggage! They know nobody travels without any luggage!! They are charging also for food, and their food is not even good!!! Gone are those days that airlines cater to the people. All they want is more money! Greed!! That is right! Greed for money is the name of the game!!! Does everybody agree with me? They are also charging now for blankets and pillows for long distance travels which you can take home with you once you reach your destination. Those blankets are so flimsy, I do not think it is worth the money the airlines are asking! Just remind yourselves to bring your own blanket, or bring along your jacket! So, before you board, make sure you have money with you with all the extras they try to tag on when you board the plane. Isn't that something? Someone will say, stop complaining, we cannot do anything. We cannot fly to another country without the airlines, unless you want to take a ship, which might take forever to arrive! Are there ships that go to other parts of the world? I do not know? Anyone out there, do you know? Next, they are charging seats based on your fat content! I guess this is right if the person cannot fit on one seat! Sorry, but have you been on a plane that you are so squeezed in between two large people? You cannot hardly breathe, let alone move. It seems your face is in their armpits! What can you do? Nothing, really. Just bear and grin, even though you are fuming inside. You want to hurl expletives #@*!!!! to them but you are trying to act civilized. If that was you, what would you do? That is why I am trying very hard to exercise and lose weight!!! Duh!! Stop feeding your face constantly with chips, cookies, and cakes. It is easier said than done! Blah! Blah! Blah! Oh, well. What do the airlines do to people before boarding the airplane? Do they weigh people or is there a chair you try? If you do not fit on the chair or your weight is outside of their weight criteria, will you be left stranded on the airport terminal? That is funny but not really. Ha! Ha! Ha! Sorry, I can just imagine how depressing and embarrassing that will be for the person if they are kicked out of their reservation in front of a lot of people. What do you guys and girls out there think what the airlines should do to prevent people in such a horrible embarrassment? Any ideas, which you can share to everybody especially the airline industry? Is it even legal to displace someone from their reservation because of their physical composition? I do not know! Someone should know. Any lawyers out there, can you please answer this question?? We are all dying to hear the answer!!!!!
