American Idol

American Idol: The path to becoming a singing sensation! The lure of a million dollar record deals with well known recording companies! The once in a lifetime career achievement! The ever changing lifestyle for the winner! The most coveted title in the record industry! This is the reason why thousands of hopefuls audition every year for the American Idol. Is it worth of? Of course, it is! Look at Kelly Clarkston, and Carrie Underwood! They are living their dreams. They are two of the lucky few who made it big! How about the others? The others were not as successful as Clarkston and Underwood, but they still have gigs here and there. Is it their destiny, or their agents are not as good? Who knows? I thought about how it would be, singing in front of an audience in the Kodak theater in Los Angeles. It gives me the goose bumps. Let us close our eyes and imagine ourselves in front of the audience........ Does it feel good? They are clapping at us!!! We hit all the right notes, and all the judges have to say are just good words for us!! Wow! How about that!!!! Ha! You fell for it!!! See, everyone dreams of becoming big in the show business, but sadly, only a few make it up there. My goodness, you are already in Los Angeles, you are that good, heh, that you go straight to Hollywood!!! Unbelievable!!!! First of all, stop dreaming! Quick!! Someone, please pinch me. Come back to reality, you cannot even carry a tune. Not even in the bathroom!!! Oh, oh!!! I am busted! Ha! Ha! Ha! There goes my dream of becoming a singing sensation! Of becoming idolized by all people, of all walks of life! Bummer!!!! Oh, well!!Who are these judges? First, Simon Cowell, the British, that is sooo mean to some contestants. I think he does this on purpose, so he will not be a forgotten judge. He is controversial to the show that gives him more money and sort of credibility. What do you mean, give him credibility? Can he even carry a tune? Who knows? I have not even heard him sing! How about that, Simon, please sing a song before you leave the Idol!!! He will probably decline because he is off key, cannot sing and all he knows is how to critique people!!!!! Hey, Simon, prove me wrong!!!!!Then there is Randy Jackson, the yo dog man. Why does he always say that? I wonder how those words started with him? Hmmm. He was okay before, but now that Simon is leaving, I think he is trying to fill his shoes! After all there should be a villain, a meanie that can hurt the contestants feelings, that can make them cry! If the judges are all nice, the Idol won't be as popular. People like controversy and want some feelings intertwined with the contest, is this not so?Then there is Kara DioGuardia, newly married. Her credentials are very impressive and she is in between nice and mean. You mean, honest!! Yes, I guess, you can call her judging that, for now. How come she is trying to be ever soooo near Simon? Does she already missed him? He is not gone yet! Should we start a rumor about them? Ryan Seacrest said the same thing??? Sorry Kara, we cannot resist! You see, when you are on the limelight, every little thing is given a meaning by the people watching, the dirtier, the better! What will your new hubby say? Hopefully, he will understand that you are a part of showbiz! Then there's Ellen DeGeneres, the talk show queen, who seems to have ousted Oprah Winfrey as # 1!! What is she doing in Idol? Can she sing? I do not know. I know she cannot really dance. What do you mean? She dances on her day show!! Ya, right!!!! She moves a little bit! And you call that dancing? Phew!! Yikes!! Then if her moves are called dancing, then I can do that too and I can join a dance competition with DeGeneres move. Do you think I will win???? Dream on!!!! Let us get back to Idol. I think all Ellen does is copy Randy's comments. She just paraphrases it differently, but it basically is the same thing that Randy says. Maybe if the seats are changed, then she cannot copy Randy, and we can really see what she has to offer to the Idol as a judge! Did they sign her on to get a boosting on their ratings? Perhaps, because, after all, she has lots of fans. Will we ever know??? Come to think of it, maybe, Ryan Seacrest should have been the judge, rather than Ellen? He should know more about judging since he has been in Idol for a long time? Naw!!! I think I like him as an emcee. Let us leave it at that, because I don't think Ellen will be as good as Ryan to be the emcee of the Idol. Besides, Ryan Seacrest is cuter than Ellen!!! Everybody agrees?? Or will there be a war? Ha! Ha! Ha! Okay everybody, let us vote, who is cuter: Ellen or Ryan? Please cast your votes!!!!
