Picture Frames

Why do we need to frame our pictures, diplomas and other recognition paraphernalia??? Is it to show it off to people that comes to our house, or is it because it makes us feel good that we accomplished something??? To me, it is both! Are there any other reason besides these two reasons??? Let me know!!! Nowadays, it is very hard to find a place to frame our picture. Years ago, there is an overabundance of businesses specializing in framing. What happened to them? Is it because it is very expensive to to go them? Or is it because you can just go to a dollar store for one and presto! your diploma is framed and it only cost you a dollar!!!! El cheapo!!! And you are sooo pleased that you only spent a buck and your diploma can be hanged in the wall for all to see!!! Bravo!!! You only spent a buck! But how does it look with your dollar frame??? Not as imposing and elegant as the other diplomas you have seen in some people's houses! That is right! What do you expect with a dollar frame??? A million dollar look??? Wake up, kiddo!!! It is not the same!!! If it is a diploma.... I would get a professional to do it! It might cost more, but I think it is worth it!!!! After all, you earned your diploma with your sweat, blood, tears and money so your diploma is priceless! You can splurge with this one! I tried to look at businesses engaged in framing... cannot find one! After a few inquiries, I learned that they do it in arts and crafts stores. Did you guys know that?? Ha! Ha! Ha!! You ninkampoof!!! When was the last time you had a picture framed??? Many moons ago??? That is why you did not know that the arts and crafts does this! I went to one, they were going to charge an arm and a leg for framing of my picture, even though the frames are on sale and there is a discount!! Also, they cannot guarantee if the crease on my picture can be straightened out, or if the picture will be ruined!!! Plus their customer service is not good! You wait and wait and wait for someone to help you. By the time they come to help you out, it is over 15 minutes, plus their attention is not focused on you! Needless to say, I ran out of the store as fast as I could!!! Back to square one! Luckily, I found a professional one, who knows what he is doing! Not only did he straightened the crease from the picture, but the framing was sooo nice and elegant!!!! The picture, which came from Rome is priceless to us because it is Pope Benedict's so you know why I am very particular with the framing!!! I believe it was worth every penny that I spent on the frame!!! In fact I went back to get his services again, and I was completely satisfied with it!!! I am completely sold to professional framing, and I just love the outcome of the diploma and the needlestitch picture framed!!! They were magnificent and it looks like a million dollar to me!!! Very, very nice!!! this professional framer really is good! He really knows the art of framing!!! Wow!!!! Try it and I guarantee you that there will be no regrets!!!

Hairstyle

What is in a hairstyle? Hairstyle can make you look glamorous or not glamorous, be it a man or a woman! See, I did not say ugly, but unglamorous! Good for you! Who follows trendy hairstyle mostly? I think it is mostly the women who are very particular about their looks! Am I right??? Oftentimes, men don't care how they look, especially if they are already married unless they are looking for a wild fling! What do you mean? I have seen women let themselves go, also, as soon as they are married and have a ton of kids unless they have a fling! They are soo busy they forget their own self. Ha!! Talk about yourself!!! There are women even though they are married still want to look presentable and gorgeous, for their own image, fling or no fling!!!! Right???? Egoistic women? Not really. They just want to be presentable for their own sake! After all, sometimes people sees you with the way you dress and carry yourself! Have you ever observed in a department store.... if you are dressed nicely, the salespeople are swarming all over you! If you dressed shabbily, the salepeople does not even bother with you!!! They pretend they do not see you!! Am I right??? Really!!! If I am out shopping, I really do not want to be bothered with salespeople, unless I have a question. I want to look at the items by myself peacefully! Who shares with me this kind if sentiment? Me...me...me....There are men or women, that follows the hairstyle, even if it does not suit them.l They just want to be in the "in" crowd. There are still others that do not change their style from a long time ago. Your friends or relatives keep on urging you to change, but no dice!!! You rather be comfortable. To change your hairstyle is not you! You feel like shouting to them to leave you alone! I see someone smiling. Did I hit a note??? What do you think? Bangs are very popular nowadays. They can really alter your look for the better! I have seen the dramatic change in some people! And I also believe that bangs make you look younger! Is this right or wrong??? Bangs goes with either short or long hair! I just love my bangs!!! I cannot live without my bangs!!!! How about you gals out there? Love your bangs also??? How about men? I think men's beauty is more natural than women. They just have a haircut and bam!, that is what you get. For women, we can do other things to our hair. We can curl it, uncurl it, or add extensions, ribbons, barrette or anything our heart desires! With men, you cannot add ribbons, barrettes or extensions unless you are a girlie type! Wait a minute, mister! I have seen men with very, very long hair! Do you think it is their own hair, or did they add an extension to it??? Any men with a long hair, please let us know if that is your real hair or somebody else's hair! We are all dying to know! How about the people that are bald? Some probably are just balding naturally, and others, probably do not want to be bothered about the price that comes with the hair. Right?? After all, how many things do we need for our hair to keep it nice, shiny, smelling good and well coif day after day? That is why there is an overabundance of hair products, and beauty salons! Keeping hair can be expensive but it can also break you or make you!!!! If the products can be expensive, there are home made products that are just as good! A word of caution: be sure it is reliable and safe! You do not want to end up looking like a clown or with no hair!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Better yet, stick to the professional hair care! Better safe than sorry!!!!!!!

Dancing with the Stars, Episode 04272010

Who was the celebrity that hit the road on this episode? Anyone care to guess? The bottom two was Niecy and Jake! Who do you think went to say bye.. bye to Dancing with the Stars??? No, it was not Niecy!!! Niecy must have more fans than bachelor star Jake. Not Niecy, who is always talking of food, and she is hilarious!!! Maybe, that is why she has a lot more fans!!! On the other hand, Jake is to me, overacting. I believe he is trying to get into the show business. He thinks he looks like Tom Cruise! Tom Cruise! No, I do not think so!!! LOL!!! Do you guys think that Jake looks like Tom Cruise? When he was booted off, he was crying!!! My, oh, my!!! He is really an actor!!! I bet you that he might end up in a soap opera, in a few months! I have never seen a guy that has sooo much drama!!!! ! Is he crying because he will no longer be in the limelight, or because he will not see the beautiful dance teachers anymore??? I think it is both! He can only look, but cannot touch them because Vienna, his fiancee, is always at his side looking at his every move! I think that it was time for Jake to exit anyway! How many times did he stumble on the dance floor??? He is soooo klutzy!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! That is not nice, laughing at someone falling while dancing! Sorry, Jake, I could not help it, klutz!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! The camera focused Vienna. She seems so sad also. Are these two still madly in love, so they say??? Can you all believe that??? I wonder if they will tire at each other soon???? Well, what does everyone think????
I was sooo surprised that Evan was the third from the bottom! He has better moves than Chad or Pamela! Len Goodman, one of the judges is always very critical of him! Is it because he has high expectations from him, being an Olympian like Kristi Yamaguchi? Perhaps. I am thinking that the champion can either be Nicole or Evan! They are the best in the bunch!!! But we will never know until the very end! It also depends on your fan base! Look at Donny Osmond that won last year. I did not think he was the best dancer in the bunch, but he won!!! What do you care? It is not you! Just watch, and have a good time!!!!!
How about the goofball Erin? Yup!!! I think she and Maksim has a lot of fun in their rehearsals and in their routines! I will not be surprised if one day they will be together! They look good together, is it not???? Have they denied the rumors about them??? I do not know! I guess we will have to wait and see!
How about Cheryl and Chad? She is still sporting the big bling! Is Chad and Cheryl serious with each other? Or is it only until the end of the Dancing with the Stars? I can see why the celebrities and their partners get involved romantically with each other. They are together for many, many hours a day, eating, practicing, arguing and what have you! There is a lot of drama going on and a lot of injuries, frustrations, anger, love and other adjectives that you can just imagine!!! How else can they survive the very hectic, gruelling, hectic days being in the show??? I wonder how much the celebrities are being paid to appear in the show? Does anyone know??? Do you think they get a million each, whether they are the first to go or not??? If that is the case, no wonder they bust their behinds and keep on going. Plus, they stick around to learn how to dance from the very best!!! How many chances do you get something like this in your lifetime, celebrity or not??? And how about the professionals? The dancing guru probably is only getting one third of what the celebrities are making from the show, and once their partner go home, their pay is cut! Sounds like a firing in the real business world, is it not??? Ha! Ha! Ha!! You cannot compare them to the real world! This is show biz!!! You are right! Because in the show, the professionals keep coming back for dance exhibitions!!!
In the real business world, once you are let go, you cannot come back! Unless it is a temporary layoff, and your bosses like you! Okay, enough of the real business world!
How about Pamela?? She is still as sexy as ever! Probably that is the reason why the voters are still keeping her around... to see her sexy hips gyrate! Even Len, the old foggy judge, like watching her!!! Actually, her dance moves are not too bad, except there are others better than her!!! Sex alone will not give her the much coveted trophy of the Dancing with the Stars!!!! And that is a fact!!!!!

National Day of Prayer

What is this National Day of Prayer that has been on the news for quite sometime now, and is the subject of soooo much controversy??? This is a day designated by Congress when people were asked to turn to God in prayer and meditation. Even though it has been in existence for so many years, it was not made official until 1952, the first Thursday in May designated as the day of prayer. The intention was to unite all religions in prayers!
Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush each hosted special events on this special day only once during their term of office, while Bill Clinton did not! George W. Bush held events on this day in each year that he was president. Barack Obama did not hold one on May 7, 2009! What is the controversy surrounding this day? On October 3, 2008, the Freedom from Religion Foundation, the members of which are atheists and agnostics, sued President George W. Bush, and the National Day of Prayer Task Force at a Madison, Wisconsin federal court. The Obama administration asked Judge Barbara Crabb to dismiss the case in March 2009, because there is no legal standing for the suit, plus the tradition dates back to 1775! Did they drop the case? No!!! Instead, the suit was amended to include President Barack Obama and Press Secretary Gibbs! Judge Crabb, on April 15,2010, ruled that the National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional, in that it is a religious exercise that serves no secular function, and is in violation of the First Amendment. The United States Department of Justice filed an appeal on April 22, 2010.
Now, there is Reverend Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham that is being barred from speaking at the festivities in the Pentagon!!!! Why is he being tossed out of this event? It was because an outside group complained about Graham's statement about Islam and the evil under its banner. In addition Graham further said that only Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life which fueled the anger of the group! A military spokesman tried to defend their decision by saying that they are an all inclusive military. But what does that mean? Not to include Christians???? It seems that our freedom is slowly disappearing! Where is our freedom of speech and religion? We cannot utter any word for fear that someone will hear you and you get a retaliation??? Come on, what is going on in our beautiful country.... the land of the free??? You think that with the attack by the radicals on 9/11, the military people will uphold the one day National Day of Prayer and will not listen to a small group!!! We, the Americans, really need to set aside even just one day to pray!!! Who cares what the others say. They can join and do their own thing! After all, our forefathers set this one special day for all religions to be united in prayer!! So, how about it, guys, set aside our differences just for this one day? One day will not kill you for a prayer!!! We really need a lot pf prayers, not only in this country, but worldwide! Let us uphold what the great people before us have started! Look, the prayers were all abolished in our school and government! Take a look at your surroundings. Is the once great American nation in a sorry state? Yes! It is!!! Unemployment, foreclosures, homelessness, disasters, one after another!!! Is it not time for all of us to unite and pray to God??? Through prayers, maybe the country will turn around and once again will see prosperity, and none of these grim situations. Who knows, miracles can happen!!!!
I am so glad that President Barack Obama will still issue a National Day of Prayer proclamation for Thursday, May 6, 2010. Do not forget the day! Circle it on your calendars!!! Make sure to join each and everyone of the people in this beautiful, great nation of ours!!! God will be sooo pleased to see people praying in unison, even if it is only one day on a given year!!!!!

Celebrity Apprentice, Episode 04252010

Here we are again, talking about Celebrity Apprentice, starring the Donald. I guess we are really hook up now on this show! There were seven remaining celebrities on the show. Donald Trump mixed the men and women. On the Rock Solid group, it has Maria, Brett and Sharon; Tenacity has Holly, Curtis, Summer, and Cyndi. Who were the project managers this time? Sharon and Holly! What was their assignment? To create a fitness program for celebrities on a 24 hour fitness club and to raise as much money for charity. The money given by donors should have a physical person representing them, or the money is not counted!! The groups expressed their satisfaction with their new group. Per Holly, it was a breathe of fresh air having Curtis in her group, who proved to be organized and effective. It looks like he quickly got control of their task, with Summer's help! Cyndi, on the other hand, has to be away again, to be with Lady Gaga. Cyndi seems to have a lot of activities in between her apprentice gig, which Holly did not like! So, what did Holly do? Tell Summer to call Cyndi to tell her to raise $30,000!!! Cyndi told her that her friends can only donate $1,000 each, and her mother will be in the gym and donate some money! At first, it seems like there was chaos in the team, with only Curtis and Summer doing all the legwork while Holly was busy on the phone getting money from big donors. What did they call their workout? Tenacious Buns and Guns! Curtis will be in charge of the workout for the guns, and Summer, for the buns!!! On the first class, only two people showed up. That was really pathetic! So, Cyndi went to the PA system and announced that there is a free class going on, and everybody should come down now!!! That proved to be successful, because their second class was way better! They had more people that showed up!!! Good job, guys!!!! Their exercise instructors were Summer and Curtis. Their exercise was kind of lame! They were just basic exercises for the abdomen and buns, and a little cardio.On the other hand, Rock Solid group had a fun and an outstanding workout. This was Brett's brainchild! Who else, but Brett!!! They called it Rock Solid Boot Camp!!! It was all pertaining to Rock and Roll routine. Maria, the beuatiful wrestler, was going to be the instructor. When she was practicing the routine, Brett was oggling at her body, especially her buns!!! He was having a time of his life, needless to say!!! They made a beautiful brochure and the moves were named into something, like playing the guitar, backstage pass and a diva thrust! There was a lot of fun with the different moves, except there were some very hot moves that the executive of the fitness did not like. When they were laying down doing the diva thrust, a female participant went on Brett! Ha! Ha! Ha! How daring she is!!!! I wonder, though, if someone paid her to do this, so it will create a stir???? Probably!!! You can see the lady executive's face changed from a smile to a wince!!!! Oh, Oh!!!!When I saw that Holly, Curtis and Summer were busy on the phone getting donors, I told myself that this team will win!!! Curtis got someone to give him a whopping $20,000! Then Summer received a $5,000!!! On the last minute, Holly finally got her $50,000 from a rich, fat cat!!!! Oh, Oh, Sharon is going to lose for sure!!!!On the boardroom, Holly did not think they even had a chance to win against Sharon, because she knows Sharon has many rich connections!!! I thought that Sharon made a mistake of not asking Brett nor Maria's help recruiting donors! She decided that she will do all the money raising! You old, conceited Missus fool!! Why does she like saying Missus to people, like Holly, in the boardroom??? Does anyone know why, or maybe that is an expression of hers??? Okay, where was I? Sharon raising money! Anyway, when I saw the WWE only gave Sharon $30,000, I knew her team is in trouble!!!! Who won? Sharon's team won in the workout routine, which earned them the $24,000 from the 24 hour fitness center. The $24,000 added to their money raised of over $100,000 did not catch up to Holly's team of over $200,000!!!! Sharon was sooo surprised of the amount of money raised by their opponent!!! See, Holly, nothing is not always as it seems! Nothing is a done deal!!! Holly learned her lesson, that every body has a chance to win if you put your heart on it!!!!! You can see that she really worked her behind begging for money! And asking money from your friends is not an easy task! Everybody knows that!!! Yoour friends might donate, but in return, you might lose his friendship!!! Am I right or not??? Donald Trump announced that it was the biggest charity donations they had ever in the history of apprentice!!! Holly's charity will receive all $347,000. Well done, Tenacity!!! She remarked that she will give Sharon a cut on the money since that is a lot of money!!! Who was fired??? Trump, for the firts time did not fire anyone!!! Whoa!!! Unbelievable!!! Yoy better believe it, buster!!! Is he getting soft in his old days??? No!!! It was because, both teams won. Shaon's team won in the workout exercises for its originality, and Holly's, for raising the most money!!!!I came to realize that Donald Trump is all money! It is a money oriented show. It is all to see which celebrity can raise the most money, or who has the richest friends that will part with their money!!! Several celebrities were ridiculed by him for not coming up with some dough on previous episodes. Take for example, Jessie, who raised very little money, and Donald asked him why he did not ask Sandra Bullock, his very successful wife??? Like on this current episode, he asked Holly who gave her the $50,000! He then proclaimed that it was a friend of his!!!! Can Donald Trump ever do something without talking of money??? I guess not! That is why his show starts with the song," money, money, money... blah! blah! blah....."

Child Bully

Have you ever been the subject of bullying?? How about your loved ones??? Yes??? I am sure that almost everyone has been subjected to bullying, one way or another! It is not a nice feeling though. You become afraid to go back to where the bullying occurred. You try to stay away from the bullies. Does that mean that you are afraid of them?? Of course not!!!! You just do not want to stoop to their low level!!! You do not want confrontation as much as possible!! That is very commendable, unless you have reach your limit! Count 1 to 100 before you lose your temper with the bullies!!! Easier said than done?? Perhaps. Do you know of any other solution??? Let us know!!!Let me tell you about the two little loved ones I have who was bullied in front of our yard! In front of your yard??? That is right!!! The two bullies were new in our neighborhood who came from the city, and much bigger than my little guy. They pinned him under them and he was crying when he and his sister told me of the episode. I quickly marched to the bullies' houses. Did you know what I got? Nothing! A cold look from the mothers!! That is right!! The mothers were nonchalant about it!!! Were you furious??? Of course, won't you be mad, if you were me??? Your little ones are being attacked and the mothers of the bullies does not give a damn!! What did I do? Since I cannot get the mothers to cooperate, I took my little ones to a Japanese dojo, and enrolled them in karate so they can defend themselves and not be bullied again!!! They were on their second week, when the two bullies came back in our front yard to confront my little boy. What happened next was hysterical to me. They pinned my little boy to the ground! His sister, three years older than him, took the bullies off from him and did a karate move on them!!! They must have been caught off guard. They did not know what hit them!!! It was a little girl!!!! And to think that these boys are much older and bigger than them!!! Needless to say, they scurried out of our front yard like little mice, never to come back!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!!! Serves them right!!! Sounds like a movie??? Has anyone have similar stories like mine??? I bet!!! Please tell us!!! Your stories are most welcomed!!!!How about me? Was I bullied when I was little? Yes, I was! It was a little boy. He was always making fun of me, and I do not know why. One day, he probably hit me on my darkest hour. I responded to his bullying!!! Did I get in trouble? Of course not, because everybody knows what is going on in school!!! The next thing I know, the boy's grandmother was talking to my mother, telling her how I was chasing his grandson with an umbrella!!! That must have been a sight, a girl chasing a boy with an umbrella!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! He never came back to bully me again!!! So, bullies, beware! You never know what the people you are bullying can or will do!!! They are very nice people that is patient and kind, but when their limit is reach, you do not want to find out!!! So, what do you guys out there think? Did I do the right things on both occasion? Was I wrong or right with the karate school? Did I do the right thing chasing the boy with the umbrella??? For one thing, on both occasions, the bullying stopped! Alleluia!!!

Survivor, Episode 04222010

Here I am again, blogging about the previous Survivor episode! I guess I am hooked up to the lies, manipulation or what have you by the men and women of both teams! The teams were finally merged, and their tribe's name is Yin and Yang, which according to Russell means good and evil!I noticed on this episode that the women wore decent clothing, Amanda was wearing a jogging outfit! Unbelievable!! I almost fell on the floor... looking at her in a jogging suit! Ha! Ha! Ha! What is wrong with her jogging suit? Nothing! I thought all she had was her bikini that she has worn forever, just wear and wear, no washing!!! I thought she, with the rest, might be too smelly. The player that really seems to be dirty is Rupert! Why? Because of his hair... on top of his head, and around his face!!! I wonder if there are some insects inside those hair??? Yikes!!! You are gross!!! Do not even think about it!!!! Rupert, please get a haircut and shave your hairy face!!! All you can see is your hair!!! It is not pleasant to look at!!! I am surprised the girls are not afraid of you!!! LOL!!! You dingbat! How could they be afraid of him? They know him!!! Okay, let me say it differently, if I see him like that outside, I wlll be afraid of him!!! Would you not be afraid of a face like that???? Enough of Rupert, let's go to Danielle. Oh my gosh, Danielle's upper lip is still the same!!! Then she gave a big smile, when she won the immunity challenge! What did we see here? Her teeth together with all her upper gums!!!! What is really wrong with her monkey lips??? Do you think she will be like that after the Survivor game is finished? Was she born like that or it is an ill fitting dentures by her dentist??? It is really funny!!! I am not laughing! If it is her natural teeth, you have to say sorry to her! Okay, but I still think she looks funny!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!!! You are not nice... laughing at somebody!! Okay, okay, I am sorry, I cannot help it!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!Who was booted off by the merged tribe? Make a lucky guess! In the meantime, Parvati is sooo sneaky. Russell did not even have the faintest idea that Parvati already has an immunity idol with her. Russell gave her the idol that JT gave to him!!! He thought Parvati will be voted off, so he came again gallantly to her rescue, and gave her the idol! Now, Parvati has not one, but two idols, she can play with!!!! How did the two idols come into play last night??? It was a big turning point to the game!!! I thought Parvati was going to save one until the end. She is really smart!! She gave one each to Sandra and Jerri, thinking that both names will be written down. She was right with Jerri! Jt's jaw must have dropped to the floor when Parvati made that move. Jt, I told you that Russell cannot be trusted!!! You are a moron, an idiot, an imbecile all lumped together!!! Where did your brain go??? In the gutter??? There is no gutter there! Oops... Come to think of it, he does not have a brain!!! A brainless ninkampoop, trying to sugar coat his enemy, which backfired!!! Did he learn his lesson??? Of course, but it is too late!!! He is off and away from his buddies and the chance to win the million dollars!!!Needless to say, the Villains outnumber the Heroes now! Will we see the Heroes dissapear one after another? Or will someone from the Villain cohort with the Heroes??? What is in store with Parvati?? Russell was soo surprised when Parvati showed up with two idols!!! He told her that she has a lot of explaining to do! Will Parvati see her exit soon??? After all, Russell is very devious! It seems every move he makes, everybody follows!!! Who will be the leader of the pack??? The competition is sooo fierce now, I bet Russell will no longer trust Parvati!!! But whom will he turn to, to be his ally??? How about Amanda that lied to Parvati, telling her to play the idol for her to save herself??? Hmmmm .... the plot thickens... There are so many unanswered questions and predictions of what the next move of the players will be. Do you think that the producers are prompting the players for some of their moves??? It is hard to say. Maybe, maybe not. If it will get them more viewers, why not???? What does everyone think?

Idol Gives Back

Idol Gives Back Foundation! What is it? It is a non profit organization established by producers of American Idol and Fox, to raise money for health, education and services for those in poverty. When I first saw their videos on television, I was mad, because all I saw with celebrities were people from Africa!!! I was wondering why they have not been helping people here on their own country!!! Then I read that their main goal is to serve children and their families in the United States and around the world! I still did not get it, because all I saw with Ryan, Simon and Kara were African children! I do not have any objections with helping other countries, but they should also help in their own backyard!!!! Are they helping the outside world more because they will get more publicity and prestige? Will they not get that much attention here in America?? Are they doing this for their own gain, to better their celebrity status or for their own satisfaction??? Hmmm.... What do you think???? Am I correct or not for having reservations concerning this or any other foundations or charities? Anyway, the idol foundation program was intertwined with the regular idol program. It was graced by many well known singers and celebrities, including, Alicia Keys and Elton John asking for contributions! It also showed Ryan interviewing the Gate's, the billionaire and philantropist. It was a well put endeavor for more than two hours!!!! I was surprised when Simon was shown with a girl and her family from Arizona. They are helping the girl and her family to cope up with the need of the child financially. When I saw that, I was sooo glad that the foundation is also helping out here in America! I hope though, that the Arizona girl is not the only one they are helping here!!! There was a huge suspense which idol was going to be eliminated because of the other program! They waited until the very last second to announce the booted contestant! That is rude!!!! And very bad for the idol contestants! I am sure the contestants were all jittery and would rather have known it as soon as possible, rather than wait for hours before their fate is known! How would you feel? They must have done it on purpose so people will remain tuned to the show, call and donate some money!! Right??? If you were one of them, would you rather wait for your unfortunate fate and listen to the celebrities, or would you rather know it earlier and watch the performers??? It is a toss up? You will not be able to watch once you know it is the last time you will be on stage with your peers? Huh?? It is not the last time, because you are already with the group touring the United States! Right?? It is not the same, you know you will not be the American Idol!!! Who cares, there were some booted contestants on the earlier American idol, and look, thay are doing great in the business!!! Right??? Remember, everything happens for a reason!!! So, don't sweat it!!!! There sure was a vast array of talent last night. I didn't know that Randy, one of the judges can play the guitar! He is one of the people that accompanied one of the singers! Which comes to my mind, what is Simon Cowell's musical talent??? And to think that he has more money, and makes more money than the other judges!! How is that??? What is wrong with this picture??? Can you please tell me why??? Or is it because of his nasty remarks which makes the ratings go up? In this case, is it him who people like to watch, therefore, the producers are giving him more money for being mean??? That is unfair!!!! This is show business! Did you know that there is nothing fair in the world of showbiz???? It is not only fair in show biz, but also in the real world!!!! There is a lot of hard work, endurance, and patience to be successful , not only in show business, but in any profession and endeavors!!!! Unless, you are one of the lucky ones that was born with a silver spoon on his mouth!!!!!!Wow, I kept on talking, I forgot to mention who was booted off! Ha! Ha! Ha! Can you guess? Hint.... He is small, and always smiling.You don't know? You are so quick to forget!!! Last night, when Ryan announced his name, you cannot see his trademark, his smile. The smile that Kara does not like! He missed his smile, when Ryan called his name!!!! Ok, you give up? It was Tim Urban!!!! Tim, forget about them telling you to not to smile too much! You are a happy person,and these people telling you to curtail your smile is miserable!!! Misery likes company!! Forget them!!! You are good and fun to watch!!! Keep smiling! We do not need any crazy, rotten people that takes a lot of energy to get a smile from them! We all need people to smile in this crazy world of ours! Dancing with the Stars, Episode 04202010

Why am I blogging about Dancing with the Stars again? My dream of becoming a smooth, sleek dancer? Or because it is fun to watch the celebrities dance and sweat with their dance partners? Or the drama unfolding week after week between the celebrities and their professional dance partners??? It is all of the above!!! Even though, I have two left feet, I still enjoy watching the dance! Who knows... I might learn some good moves from them!!! Ya, right!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!!! Not in a million years, kiddo!!!! Never mind the dance moves, you are H..O..P..E...L..E..S...S...!!!!! Just be a spectator!!!!What is new??? Cheryl Burke has been sporting in her left ring finger a very, very expensive diamond ring, that is probably worth $5,000!!!! Who gave it to her?? Guess? None other than her partner, Chad Ochocinco!!! Wow!!! That is a huge diamond ring, a present just for teaching him how to dance!!! You are just jealous because nobody is giving you a very expensive ring!!! I think there is more to their relationship than being dance partners!!! I think there is hanky panky going on between the two of them!!! Would you give your partner a very expensive ring that is just for teaching you how to dance, unless there is something in the sideline going on between them??? Come on, do you all agree with me??? Cheryl, you are very dumb!!! Can you not hear that Chad is always mentioning something in passing about the two of you? Wake up, Cheryl. Chad is telling the world in his own little sneaky words, that he has conquered you and your body!!! Chad is not very subtle with his hints about his relationship with you!!! And have you noticed that Cheryl's behind is sooo wide now? Has Chad been feeding you too much??? The previous episode, you two are so much in love when you were dancing the Rumba. On this last episode, it seems the two of you just had a big fight! You do not have the moonstruck and oogle eyes for each other anymore!!!! Cheryl, you are soooo stupid for taking the ring! Now, you have to bear and grin the remaining weeks teaching him to dance! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! You learned your lesson, did you??? You were bought with just $5,000!!! You are soo cheap!!!! Enough with these lovebirds!Who were sent home last night? Kate and Tony!!! It was time for Kate to exit. It should have been a long time ago! It seems she is not into it, and her mind seem to be in Timbuktu! She seems lifeless. I know she is undergoing tough times, but goodness gracious! Get on with your life, Kate! Think of your kids! Forget about the a-hole John!!! He is not the only guy in the world! It is easy for you to say that, but if you were in her shoes, I bet your emotions will run like hers!!! Okay, sorry. Anyway, please, somebody, please beat the living daylight out of her... take her out of her miserable trance!!! She cried when she left. Hopefully, Maybe, that is the start of her releasing her bottled up emotions??? Hopefully, with the Dancing with the Stars out of her hair, she will change for the better for her sake and especially for the sake of the children!!!! How about Jake, the Bachelor? He started the dance sans his pants, like Tom Cruise! I think he is really trying very hard not to be sent home. I am sure he is enjoying the publicity! I thought Vienna and Jake will cool it iff with their romance. I guess they are still with each other! She has been religiously going to the performances with him! What else can she do, except keep a watchful eyes on her man??? I am sure Jake is some kind of a flirt with the women. After all, the proffessional dancers are sexy and gorgeous with their next to nothing clothes!!! Everybody agree? Do you think Jake and Vienna will still be together after the Dancing with the Stars? Dollar Store or Regular Store

Are you a dollar store shopper, or a regular store shopper? What do you mean regular store? Like grocery stores, convenience stores, or wholesale clubs! Do you think you will save going to the dollar stores??? I used not to go to the dollar store. I go to our regular grocery stores for everything! When I mean everything, I mean everything... from food to toiletries, paper products and others! I didn't know much better then! Besides, I am too lazy to drive from one place to the other! Nowadays, it is a different story, with food prices very high! and gas prices very high! I try to combine a lot of trips. Plus I usually bring coupons and look at the store specials before I go shopping! Sounds good, right??? But how many times have you gone to the store without your coupons???? HA! You caught me!!! Sometimes, I am in the store only for one item, I end up with 10 items!!! How many of you have done this? Raise your hands, do not be shy!!!! I, like you, cannot resist a good bargain especially if I think we need it! Or maybe you want it??? You should be able to distinguish between need and want!!! I wonder if someone can invent something that will be your conscience during shopping, a gadget that will say," Hey, you, do you really need it? If you do not, just put it down! I told you to put it down!!! If you are the only one who wants it, that will be a waste! Big time!!!" Sounds good? Quick, everybody, put your thinking cap! I am sure that your gadget will be an instant success!!! Oh, ya, in this country, we are soo wasteful with our food. We just eat a little and throw it away!!! What a waste!!!! People know this, that is why there is a growing number of dumpster divers!!!! You were on the dollar store subject, you went on a tangent again! Sorry, I cannot help it!Dollar stores... I only buy in these stores a few items like gift wrappers, bar of soap, lunch bags, napkins, small knives for cutting tomatoes etc, and disposable gloves. I tried one time their lightbulbs... it did not work! Being only a dollar, I just threw it away, making a mental note not to buy it anymore at the dollar store! I was going to buy the other day, cotton balls, since I know it will be only a dollar. But that means, going out of my way for just that one item! Since I was at a grocery store, I just thought I will buy it there. Did you know how much it cost at the grocery store??? Guess??? $1.00! $1.00? Yup!!! Unbelievable!!! Yippee!!! The bag of cotton balls was only $1.00!! Now, I know what can get you excited!!! You are El Cheapo!!! You better believe it!!! How about those bar of soaps? The bar of soap is smaller now, but it is still three in a pack for $1.00. Someone told me that you can tell the soap is cheap! It does not lather that much! You are right!! I experimented one day with the $ store soap against a name brand soap. Who is the winner?? The name brand soap!! I wonder if the $ soap removes the dirt from your body??? Of course, it should be! There is no question about it! You dumbo!!! This soap has been in existence for years and years! It is also a well known brand!!! I do not care, I will stick to my $ soap! But watch your dollar store, sometimes they cheat! I found one that unwraps the three bar of soap and they sell it for $1.00 per bar! When I confronted the clerk, she agreed it should be 3 bars per $1.00 per the computer! She did not know how it was unwrapped from its packages!!! Ya! ET did it!!!! Sorry, dollar store, you cannot cheat me this time! I really know my soap, and how it is packaged!!!! Needless to say, that dollar store went out of business!!!! How about toiletries? I buy toilet paper and paper towels in the wholesale club! They are, for me, cheaper and lasts longer!! But I found out that their brand is not always the good one. I bought their toilet paper... I was surprised! It was individually packaged but was very flimsy!!! It was only one ply!!!! I thought I will try it since it was a few dollar less than the name brand! I was wrong! Why do you need a two ply toilet paper? It is just to wipe your stinking butt, anyway!!! Oh,Oh!! Some people unroll a two ply and make it a two, one ply toilet paper!!! Really??? Yes!!! Phew!! And I thought I was cheap! Now, are you happy, that somebody is cheaper than you!!! Yup!!!! Anyway, I don't know about you guys, but for me, a two ply toilet paper is better! You will not need as much to use! Correct? I also like toilet papers that are soft for my butt! My, oh, my! How about when you are out, the toilet papers in the public is soo hard! Oh, well, I just bear and use it! Beggars cannot be choosy! Right???? How about food? I try not to buy any at the dollar store. If I do, which is maybe, just the spices, I read to see what country it came from! Most of the time, I buy food in either the grocery store or the wholesale club, whichever is cheaper!! You really have to know your prices to get ahead of the game of shopping for food!!! So, now, which would you prefer, the dollar store, grocery store or wholesale club??? Or do you do,what I do, hop from one place to the other to shop for the best price for your hard earned dollars??? Let us know what your thoughts are!!!!!

Celebrity Apprentice, Two Episodes

It seems every Sunday, I am drawn to watch celebrity apprentice! Why? Probably, I like to see the feuding women who are always on each others throats! You are something else!!! You want to see fighting? Not really a fist fight, but just the constant bickering! You are c...r..a..z..y!!!! Or maybe, I like to see how the celebrities can accomplish their given tasks by the Donald! Speaking of Donald Trump, how come when he talks, his lips are like the letter " O"? Is that natural? Or is that through hours of practice, to make that his trademark, besides the fingers,when he says "You're fired" ???? His son does not talk like that, but his daughter is the same way with her lips!! Do you find it attractive??? Not really! I find it annoying!!! How about you guys, have you noticed it???? What do you think??? I was trying to talk like that, but I had a hard time!!! And I am laughing at myself when I was trying it, because, my lips are sooo pouty and my speech becomes so loud!! Maybe that is what I should do to have pouty lips! Then I do not need an injection to make my lips fuller!! Ha! Ha! Ha!! Good idea???On the 04112010 episode, each team has to make a commercial for the Right guard Total Defense 5. The project managers were Curtis Stone for the men, and Holly Robinson Peete, for the women. They hired two basketball players to help each team. For the men, Rock Solid, Clyde Dexter is their helper, and with the women, Tenacity, it was Scottie Pippen! Before the tasks, two women played hooky, Sharon Osbourne, who called in sick ( sounds familiar guys... at work?), and Cyndi Lauper, who went to meet the president to celebrate a new law being passed! I wonder what law was that? What was Cyndi's role in that law??? Anyone???Anyway, to make the long story short, the men won! It is because the women did not have a new idea for the 10 second spot, and also the project manager insisted on the target audience as the moms, which the Right Guard executives already said no. The target audience should be young teens! Was Holly, the project manager canned??? No! It was Selita, the model who was fired!!! For one thing, Selita in the boardroom, was very quiet, unlike Holly that was sooo fierce like a lion! She was really trying to fight hard to save her sorry behind!!!!! That is a legitimate firing, because you can see all the women hauling and carrying items for their task, but where do you see Selita??? In the company of Scottie Pippen!! She was busy trying to feed him, which George saw! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Selita, Selita!!! What is wrong with you, you lazy bum!!! This reminds me at work, that when something hard needs to be done, you cannot find anybody to help you! Everybody disappears, like a mouse, to their holes!! Right???? I changed my mind about Selita.... She is just a lazy, lazy woman who just wants to parade her skin in underwear, after all!!! When it comes to lifting, or duties that need physical work, forget The Victoria's secret angel!!!! Sayonara, Selita! You are hopeless!!! How about the episode on 04182010? This episode involves two rising country singers, Emily West and Luke Brian! Their task?? To do a makeover of Emily and Luke in time for their photo shoot, interviews and concert!!! The project managers were Cyndi Lauper, for obvious reasons, and Goldberg, who volunteered since he has not been a project manager! Goldberg... You are a fool!!!! You should have given it to Brett, since he knows more about music!!! Crazy, crazy Goldberg!!! As soon as Cyndi heard Emily's voice, it is Emily she wanted to work with!! The transformation of Emily was stunning! She seems sophisticated and so polished, thanks to Cyndi, who watched like a hawk on everything! She would not have anybody have a say on the task except Sharon, which again resulted in a free for all between Cyndi, Maria and Holly! More drama!!!! Women! Women! Women!!!! On the other hand, Stupid Goldberg gave all the responsibiity to Brett. To me, even if Goldberg did not delegated the task to Brett, I am sure that Brett would have thrown his two cents constantly to him!!! Do you think I am right? Okay, back to Brett and Luke! Brett had a hard time with Luke, since Luke has his own ideas! Luke, for the life of Brett cannot be changed. Everything the team said to him was turned down!!! Then, why did Luke come to have a makeover, if he will not cooperate and listen to the men??? Go, figure!!! I guess all of them were frustrated, for the celebrities... Luke's hardheadedness, and for Luke, for the celebrities trying to change him into something that he is not!!! I think though that it is a huge mistake, Luke!!! These men are famous!!! Not like you!!! You are just starting out... You should have listened to them!The concert came. Luke started. Everybody liked him, because his music is bouncy!! I like it too! What did he wear? He wore what he usually wear with just a borrowed chain from Brett around his neck, which he reluctantly wore! He said why would he wear and do something that will make him uncomfortable?? He has a point there! What do you guys think? Is he right, for sticking to his true self? I guess the celebrities did not intimidate him one iota! Hurrah for him!!! On the other hand, Emily, gave herself fully and totally to the mercy of the women! I mean, to the mercy of Cyndi!!!! The transformation was remarkable! And when she opened her mouth, it was wonderful! Both rising country stars did well. Their music are totally opposite each other, Luke more bouncy like Elvis, and Emily, soft , slow which made Cyndi cry!!!Who won in the challenge? The women, of course!!! Who got fired? Goldberg, because he said, he delegated 95 % of the task to Brett!!! Then he tried to tell Donald that he was wrong with his math, that it is only, 90%, 87% or 70 %!!! Okay, Goldberg, which one is it??? You are sooo darn stupid!! Serves you right, to be fired!!!! Just go back to wrestling! You do not need brains nor math!!!!! Adios, sayonara, and good riddance to you!!!!!

Survivor, Episode 04152010

Why am I blogging about Survivor? Why, oh, why??? Is there a song why, oh, why? I do not know, but you are so silly! Okay I am blogging about Survivor because I am sooo upset with the women on the villains!!! They outnumber Russell Hantz by 5 to 1, and they do not want to vote him off!!! He is manipulating them and it seems he is the king and he has a harem!!! How come when women get together, they do not trust each other? There is too much jealousy and hatred? Why??? Do you ladies know why?? I think the men are different, they are more cohesive, is it not? Can somebody tell me the big difference about men and women, why men get along better with each other??? I thought when it comes to these, like in Survivor, that the women will band together! Obviously, I was wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!!! Hmmmmm.....unless Russell hypnotized them or had put a spell into each of these women??? After all, we do not see everything that is happening every minute that they are there in the wild and open. Right??? Quick, somebody, shake, slap or do something to the women to put them back to reality, out from their deep slumber in the no good world of Russell!!! Wake up, ladies, Russell is just using you! If I could just scream at the women!!! Grrrrr! !*#!!!! The last episode of April 15th was a crazy one. Of course, it would be, it is on the same day that the taxes are due!!! What are you talking about? Taxes does not have anything to do with Survivor! You are right! I just threw it in, to deviate a little. You are so weird!!! I know! Do you have a problem with that??? Oops. No, just go back to Survivor!!! I do not want to hear about Uncle Sam!! Goodness gracious, okay! Do not be mad, get glad! Ha! Ha! Ha! They should be paying me for the commercial! Oh,well! Sigh!!!The episode started with the food challenge where the contestants have three hurdles to go though. Who do you think won? The food challenge was won by the Villains! Do you know what the reward was? Outback steaks and shrimps!!! Wow!!! That was really yummy!!!! Why? Where you there? No, but if you have been to Outback restaurant, you know what I mean! Their food is delicious!!!! Yum! Yum! Yum!!! Okay, I get it!!!On the immunity challenge, Russell deliberately lost it! Why? Because Jt from the Heroes tribe promised to give him the immunity idol that he found!!! Whoa!! Jt, that is a very, very, stupid, dumb, silly move!!! Do you think that Russell will save you when you merge? Russell, aka, devil, is the most conniving, no good, untrustworthy and the biggest liar! He also has the biggest ego in the history of Survivor, bigger than his head!!! I read that he thinks people will be asking for his autograph and he is already thinking of how much money he will make in guest appearances!!! Ha! Do you think he is right? How many are fans of him??? If he is an oil tycoon, why did he join Survivor??? Seems like he is after the money, which he does not need if he is really a rich businessman? Does the other contestants know about this??? If they do, and they still trust him, they are really crazy!! Jt, seems like just handed Russell his one million dollars!!! It will be too late when he realize it! Jt thought Russell will vote Parvati off. What did he do? Showed Parvati Jt's letter and voted Courtney off!!!! Nice move, Jt!!!Parvati found an immunity idol with the help of Danielle. She did not show it to Russell, and she thinks she can manipulate Russell. Hopefully, she is not wrong!! If he finds out, I bet you that Parvati will be a goner!!! Hold on, does Russell know that Parvati and Danielle found the immunity idol? He was in the background lurking?? If he did, why would he show Parvati the idol and letter that Jt gave to him??? Hmmmm...... the plot thickens....... What is wrong with Danielle's upper lip?? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! I cannot stop laughing!!!! Are those monkey lips??? LOL!!! I keep commenting about it?? Phew!!! It is sooo red and it does not look good!!! Is she wearing an ill fitting dentures??? Maybe, Survivor can give her some money to fix her dentures!!! How about that, Jeff Probst, please give some moolah to Danielle so she will not look like an alien!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!!! Sorry, I cannot resist!!!How about the women, they are always wearing bikinis, like Amanda and Courtney. They seem to be sooo dirty. Do they even change their bikinis or underwear??? I hope they do not have cooties!!!! Yikes!!! I wonder if all of them are so smelly??? Ha! Ha! Ha! You are soo stupid!!! It is a good thing they are outside! Why do you care? You are not with them, plus they are roughing it!! They do not have the convenience that they did before! They are enduring this for the one million prize! Got it?? Ya!!!! The one million is their incentive... that is why, Amanda and Parvati just reached their 100 days in the game of Survivor!!! How about that! I cannot even imagine me there for even half an hour, with no bath and decent food and bed!!! How about you guys,would you exchange all the conveniences you had to be in the jungle for a few months, for a million dollars???? Yes??? Moolah talks!!! More power to you then!!! Anything for the promise of being rich!!! Just make sure you can stomach the lies, cheating, and manipulation of your fellow contestants!!! Also, it helps to be smart and physically strong for the challenges!!! Are you up to the challenge for a million bucks????

Big Butt or Big Boobs??? Ladies, if you have a choice, which one would you prefer? I think I know what the men wants, and wish what their roommate ( roommate, my butt!!!!), girlfriends, or neighbors have! Big Boobs!!! Of, course,so he can parade you all over town as his prized possession for a few months! Some of the men like to look at it, a lot others to feel it, like how they feel the melon or watermelon to see if it is ripe! That is a good one. You are right! Some women has boobies as big as a melon, others have boobies as big as a watermelon!!! You are sooo stupid!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh! Oh! You do not compare fruits with boobs! Why not??? It is so different! Why is it different, the fruits do not have feelings, the same with fake boobs....... no feelings!!!! Am I right or not? Anyone??? Some men would prefer a big butt on their woman! Why is that?? I don't really know why, but maybe it looks sexy, especially, if it protrudes from your behind a mile long! A mile long! That is nonsense!! There is no one with a mile long butt!!! How about Jennifer Lopez???? It seems she has a mile long butt! When she is on side view or back view, all you can see is her big, protruding butt!!! Marc Anthony is soo lucky. If he feels tense, all he has to do is squeeze JLo's butt! After all that is like squeezing those tension balls, and she has a big one to relieve his tension! But only two, she want more!!!! The next day, she turned to Booby, her left booby, she asked, " What should I do, to get a date?" Booby replied, "Just show some of your moves, or better yet, network!!! I am sure if you advertise that you are looking for that special someone, that men will be dropping like flies on your doorstep!" There you go Pamela, go now and start dating!!!!!! Do you want to go through the knife? Besides being expensive, it will take a few months to recuperate! I imagine how painful it would be, and how agonizing it could be!!! You probably will not be able to sit for a few months!!! So, what do you do when you eat, sleep and drive??? You probably will be bedridden and will need all the help you can get!!! Musicals

Musicals!! Either you love it or you hate it!!! I don't know why some people would hate it! Hate is a stong word. Just say, they do not care to see it, they do not like it! Why? Because everytime you turn around, they are opening their mouths... singing! What is wrong with that? That is really good!!! Singing is better than cursing, which you see in almost every movie or television shows? So, which would you prefer... hearing music or hearing expletives that sometimes is out of this world!!!! Come on, tell the truth!!! Singing is so pleasing to the ears, especially if the singers have natural talent. Don't you all agree???There is one musical that I love to watch. The Sound of Music!!! Has everybody seen it??? I think I have watched it more than three times!!! I really enjoy watching that movie, with Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. The duo can really sing! Do you think the younger genereation would care to watch it??? I do not know, their eyes and hands are so pre-occupied with texting that I am not sure that they will have time to go to the movies, let alone an old movie like this one!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! I can tell you are an old foggy, with the age of the movie!!! Come on, be real, enough on the old movies. Boo... Hooo...Those movies are from the yesteryears, in the old, old, days... in the 1900??? Ha! Ha! Ha!!! Back to the real time, 2010. Are there any musicals on television nowadays?? To some of you that does not have television, like Madonna claims, there is a musical/ comedy show titled Glee! I tell you, the actors and actresses can really sing! I thought it will only be a handful of them that can sing, but they can all sing! It is about a High School Spanish teacher, Will Schuester( Matthew Morrison), who becomes the director of the school's glee club who is trying to become champions again! Then there is Sue Sylvester ( Jane Lynch), who is always trying to sabotage Will and his glee club. What is it with the jogging outfits??? I have not seen her with any other outfits except jogging suits!!! The producers must be saving a lot on her outfits for the show!!! Sems like she has no class, and revenge is her middle name!!! She has no mercy for Will!!! She is a very good actress, and every time I see her, I am all ears of what she is going to say or do next. She should get an award for her character!! There are romantic twists and turns on the characters like any other show. Of course, why should there not be? After all, sex sells! If there is no sexual innuendoes, it will not go with the viewers. Am I right? It does not matter if they can sing good, or act good. People want to see the softer side of the characters, with their man or woman! The last episode was a tribute to the power of Hello! They rendered several powerful, beautiful Hello songs. One of them was an old song sung by Lionel Richie. It was really nice!The next episode is going to be a tribute to the material girl. Does everyone know who it is?? Madonna!!! She does not want to appear in the episode because she claims she does not know wht Glee is all about!!! She is afraid that they might murder her songs!!! What is wrong with her??? She is not probably going to be paid handsomely, that is why. So, Glee and her are just settling in with Glee using her songs! Do you know how much she is getting paid for this? $100,000 in royalties!!! Don't we all wish it was us getting paid the big bucks??? We can settle for half that amount, right? Ha! Ha! Ha! You wish!!! And the producers will not get headches from the egoistic material girl!!!

Wii

Wii!!! Does everyone know what is Wii???? Wii, pronounced we is from Nintendo, that offers games, rock bands, and fitness, to name a few. The games are the ones the kids like playing for hours and hours. What do you mean? I see adults getting hook for hours in the game, also!!!! You are really right!!! It gives them the satisfaction to emerge as the victorious person, be it boxing, bowling or other games! Do you know anybody that is hooked up to these nintendo games??? I see a lot of head nodding!
Then there is the Guitar Hero and Rock Band. You experience the rock star's performance with the music in your own living room! There is a module that you insert and you follow the singing while you play the drums and the guitar!! It is better if someone do the guitar and another person do the drums. I tell you, this is soo funky!! Even though you are out of tune you just keep on going and going. Sounds like the battery that keeps on going and going!! Ha! Ha! Ha! It seems like your living room become alive with wannabe rock stars!!! The music can be really contagious for you to take part in the simulation! Oh, Ya? It is sooo much fun! It is soo entertaining, insane, and hilarious. A word of advice: put some plugs in your ears if if will bother you!!! But I cannot just imagine you not participating or at least listen. It is brilliant, whoever thought of this! Try it, you will like it!!! Boy, oh, boy, there is a rocker in our house!!!! Clap your hands together!!!!
Then there is the Wii Fit Plus. You step on the balance board, enter your height, and it will give you your weight and your BMI! I noticed though that my weight is off, by about 5 pounds! And I cannot believe that my BMI is normal!!! How about that???? I will not disagree with the Wii, my scale in the bathroom is wrong!! Yippee!!! I can eat more!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Now, I really like it and I am hook!! The Wii got me, hook, line and sinker!!! Okay, let us start with level one, the lowest level of difficulty! Let us start with the simple aerobics. No problem! It was easy! Let us go to Hula Hoop. Wow!! Hula Hoop... Let us go. I have to see if I can still gyrate my hips. Oh, Oh! Disaster!!! Big time!!! I cannot believe it! I failed the hula hoop! The Wii is wrong. How could it be wrong? It does not take into consideration your arm movement, it is only a left and right movement! It is not my fault that I failed. I got distracted!!! You got distracted 5 times by the Wii!! Ya, right!
Okay, let us do something simple. How about just some moves on and off the balance board? Just follow them! I can do this. This will be a breeze! One, two... What is wrong with you? You are supposed to go back, not to the right! Do you know your left, right, back, and forward??? Yes, I do!!! Okay, let's start. One... two... good! Keep going!!! Oh, oh. You lost your place!!! You are hopeless!!!! Ay...ya.. yay!!! Wait, how come you did not fail? T he Wii gave you a passing score!!! Unbelievable! I told you I like the Wii! It does not lie!!!! Chuckle! Chuckle!!! Let us go to another exercise. Walking. This will be easy. Okay, let us go. Start walking. Wait! What does Mr Wii says? Keep your walking steady, do not go ahead of the pack. Okay. Why did you call Wii, Mr? Is it a he??? I do not know, Who cares?? Do not mess me up with my walking, the only exercise I can probably finish with flying colors!!! Woo-hoo!!! You are almost in the finish line! Can you believe that?? You will finish the task! Hurray!!!! You did it!!! But I am soooo sweaty and my heart is thumping so fast! Do I need to call 911? Dumbo! No! I just need to catch my breath for the next task! You can still go on? Wowie!!! I am impressed!!!
Let us try Tightrope. I always want to work in the circus. Ha! Ha! Ha! That is a very hard task. I bet you, you will not even accomplish one to go across. Let us see. One two, go!!! Right feet, left feet. Oh no, you are going to fall!!! Bam! Down you go!!! Told you this is not for you! I guess working in the circus is out of the question!!! Ha! Ha! This is enough for me today!
Isn't this amazing with the Wii? You can lose weight, burn calories and at the same time, improve your posture and balance?? No wonder many people are resorting to Wii! You do not have to drive to your fitness center, you do not have to pay a fee, and you can do it anytime, anywhere in your own house!! Isn't that amazing??? I wonder, though, if there is a decline in the fitness membership, because of the Wii??? Anyone care to answer???

Coffee, Tea, or Milk

Coffee, tea, or milk? Which one do you like best? It depends, for me, what drink I like.If it is early in the morning, to wake up, or anytime when caffeine jolt is needed, then the drink of choice is coffee. I can only drink a maximum of three cups a day!! That is a lot of coffee! No, I do not think so. There are people that drink it like water, left and right, one after another! Do you know anyone that is an addict to coffee? I know several!!! And they drink it black!!! That is right! Black!!! Phew!!! That is soo bitter tasting! Maybe their taste buds are already immune to the bitterness of the coffee since they are coffee addicts already!!! When I drink coffee, I add lots and lots of cream or milk, until I cannot taste the coffee anymore! Then why bother drinking coffee? Just drink milk! It is not the same!!! Everyone agree??? I also know someone who buys coffee, then ask the vendor to pour out some coffee and replace it with water to dilute it, so it will not be as strong!!! You can say people like this are not the real coffee drinkers! In some places, they use rice to make coffee! How? They roast the rice in a frying pan until it is dark brown to almost black, they add water to it and presto.... Your coffee is done! How does it taste? I do not know, maybe like burnt rice? I was going to say Yikes!!! But it might not be as bad. Does anyone want to try making it??? How about those people that seems to add and add and add sugar, until it seems it is sweeter than cake? You probably will say, just eat cake! It is not the same!!! That is not coffee!How about tea? I like tea when I am eating Chinese food! Yum! Yum!!! What is yum, yum, tea or Chinese food?? Ha! Ha! Ha!! You ding aling! Of course, the Chinese food is the yummy one! The tea can be yummy too, if you add fruits to it. right??? Right!!! But I would rather just drink it plain without anything! This one, I can drink black!!! I also like tea when I am sick! How about an iced tea on a hot summer day??? Of course, that is so refreshing!!!! Then after you are done with the tea bags, you can put it in your eyes to decrease the puffiness and dark circles on your eyes?? Who said that? Have you tried it? No! Has anyone tried it? How did it go??? A word of caution: Do not put it in your eyes when it is hot!!! You might end up with blisters in your eyes!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Talking from experience? Of course not!!!How about milk? I am not a baby! Stop whining!!! Oh, my!!! Goodness gracious, babies are not the only ones that drink milk!!! Adults drink it too! Who among you drink milk? Do not be shy, raise your hands!! Okay, you got me! I drink milk, because I need calcium! The problem with drinking milk, I get the runs!!! Who is running now?? You really want to know? My butt starts running! Get it???? Ha! Ha! Ha! Then what do you do? Nothing! I just wait until it subsides, then after that I think I might have lost a few pounds!!! You wish!!! You are really a moron!! You will not lose weight just because of a one time deal! What do you mean a one time deal?? Sounds like you are selling something! Do not say it!!! It already sounds gross!!! Never mind! You win!!! Thank you!!! I finally won! Hurrah!!!There you go, folks, have you decided which drink is best for you? Oh, Oh, I should paraphrase it, since you know what is best for you!!! Right? So, ladies and gents which drink do you like best? The caffeine kicker, the tea or the baby's drink? Do not be shy!!!Take your pick! I know what I like!

Slot Tournament

What is it in the slot tournaments that lures people to participate? The anticipation of winning the grand prize of several thousand dollars!!! This is the same with any of the tournaments like poker, golf, bowling, billiard, to name a few. What do you mean? It is not the same! With golf, bowling , billiard and poker, you are using your talent! With the slot machine, you are under the mercy of the slot machine or the casino!!! You do not need any talent or hard work! As long as you have fingers that push the button on the machine, then you can play! That is true though, that the main object is to win money on all tournaments!!! Why do they have tournaments in the casino? To get people to come in to the casino! Sometimes, the tournament is soooo long, from 9: 00 in the morning, until 6:00 at night!!! The competition is every 15 minutes, and there is only one winner per session!! Can you imagine if you are in the 9:00 am session, the final session for $2,500.00 is at 6:00pm? You are in the casino for more than eight hours!!!! Can you imagine what you will be doing in eight hours in the casino??? You will surely be tempted to play the slot machines!!! The casinos also tempt all the loser in each session to stick around because they have wild card drawings!!! How many losers do you think are tempted to stay hoping their names will be called???? Fifty percent? Seventy percent? Or Eighty percent???? I do not really know! Anybody has any ideas? It is probably fifty percent or less if your session is early, and higher if your session is near 6:00 pm. What do you think????The tournament sometimes also give $50.00 to the person with the lowest point! How about that? You are a loser, but you are also a winner!! Huh?? Sounds good anyway. Anything to encourage attendance to these tournaments, I would say! Where else can you get $50.00 for losing??? Only in the casino!!! But the prize money you get will easily disappear if you are not careful! Oh! Oh! People have a tendency to play and play until their prize money and more is gone! Then you can kick yourself for not stopping!!! How many people do you think have control of how much they are going to gamble? Has anyone done research on this??? I wonder if someone can invent something that will stop a person to reach inside his/her pocket for more money to gamble? Wouldn't this be a good idea to invent? How many people do you think will buy this gadget? The casinos will probably ban it!!! Once you are in front of a slot machine, the thrill starts, and you forget everything!!! It seems you have been hypnotized by the slots!! How many have experienced this?? And the machines knows how to tease people with the way the numbers or figures come up. You have the tendency to say, it will hit on the next turn!!! And before you know it, your $10.00 is gone, another $10.00 and so on!!! I guess people cannot resist the temptation of going to the casinos especially the older generation. Why?? They do not have better to do!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!! No, I am just kidding. It is a form of entertainment for some, and for others, the chance of hitting big!!! The older generation are not the only ones that are dreaming to hit big in the casinos!! Plus how could the older genertion hit big, if they only put one penny in a penny machine??? Are you serious?? Yes, I am. They just want to go out, relax and be entertained!! Have you seen some of the crazy machines?? They sure are fun to watch!! They even have good music that you cannot help to wiggle your hips especially when you are winning!!! Right?? Are there certain times that you can hit big in the slots? Some people think so. If anyone has any ideas what a good time to go to play the slot machine to win big, let us know. How about the tournaments, what is the secret to win big? Just a little luck , or do you need a lucky charm, a lucky dress, or what?? It sure is nice when you are winning , and when the lights on the top of your machine starts to light up! That will surely make your day!!! Ka.. Ching!!!!!

Four Seasons

Which of the four seasons do you like best? For me, it is the toss up between Summer and Fall! Why? Because in the summertime, you do not have to dress too much. What do you mean? You just wear a bathing suit all the time, like a bikini? Heavens, No!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! For one thing I do not have an hourglass figure, so bikini is out of the question!! What I meant is no winter coats or jackets, no boots, no scarves or no mittens!!! And on summertime, you can walk outside, go swimming, tend to your garden and enjoy your Vitamin D!!!! It is also time for picnics in the park, and barbeque on the grill! It is also a good time for camping, and vacation!!! I don't know about vacation. Why??? With the gasoline prices up, I think many people will not drive very far from their backyard! Am I right or not??? And many people will resist the urge of flying since it is very expensive, and the airlines are adding more and more costs to everything! They are even thinking of charging people for using the bathroom!! You think there might be a time that the airlines will charge you for farting???? What?? You are insane!!!! Why not? They are charging everything, and you are letting gas out up in the air!!! That is so hysterical!!!! Please stop!!!!I also like Fall, because of the beautiful sceneries with the colors of the leaves changing! The temperature is just right! Just wear a light sweater and out you go!!! It is neither hot nor cold, a very enjoyable stroll on the park. Don't you agree? Some people prefer to go driving in the Fall since the temperature is nice, and the places you go on vacation will not be as crowded! How about Spring?? Spring is nice, also, except you get soaked with rain!! That is okay, you will not melt!! But on a rainy day, you tend to be lazy and just want to curl up in bed!! That is true, but then this is when the trees become alive again! You will also see many flowers blooming, the grass once again is green!!! What more can you ask for? this is the time you see again the Cardinal! I am not talking about a sports name, but a bird!!! A very pretty bird that when you see it, you know Spring is here!!! Sorry, sports fans out there, I do not even know which state this belongs too, let alone whether it is a baseball, football or basketball franchise! Who cares, anyway? Oh, oh, I see the Cardinals fans pouting!!! Ooooppppps.....Then there is Winter! Brrrr!!! The coldest season. The time when your heater comes on! You get prepared for the high gas bills, depending on where you set your thermostat! Nowadays, even though the thermostat is down to 65, the gas bill is still high!! You cannot win, in the wintertime, it is the heating bill, and on the summertime, it is the electricity, the cost of cooling your house!!! We cannot really win!!! Also, during winter, the skiing and snowmobilers season, it is a very pretty sight, with all the snow blanketing the trees,houses and grass. It is very pretty, indeed, as long as you are not driving.So, which season do you like?? Or do you live in an area that does not have the four seasons?? Just imagine, see yourself in the four seasons. That is right! Close your eyes and immerse yourself in the beauty of each of the four seasons! What do you think? Did you like the snow in the Winter, the blooming carnations in Spring, a lazy afternoon on a beach on Summertime, or a lazy stroll amid the breathtaking, beautiful colors of the Fall? Take your pick!!!!!

Census, 2010

Has everybody filled out and mailed their 2010 census? You hear that advertisement all over the place: television, radio, banners, billboards! How much is it costing us taxpayers for all these expensive ads???? Hmmm... I could imagine thousands of dollars!! And for what? To get a citizens count every 10 years. It is an official count of a particular population. If it is just a head count of each person living in a given population, why is it broken down into gender, age and ethnicity? So, if there are only say for example, 2 Pacific Islanders in a given place, then they can link the two together and will know your identity? Right? This is not right, that is why many people are protesting the census! If that is the case, the census is invading each and every citizens privacy. Is thisunconstitutional??? Any ideas? Comments???The Census Bureau employed a lot of part time workers, and may add 750,000 more workers to its payroll by May! This is part of the reason why the unemployment went down! The pay is good, some start at $11.25 per hour and some at $15.25! Not a bad pay considering what your duties are! One of the journalist has written that she received some e-mails from the Census Bureau workers. One claims that this is the easiest job he has ever done! He goes out in a certain neighborhood and see to it, that the addresses on those that has filed already matches what is in the computer! He is not even required to key it in! He can easily finished 35 to 40 houses an hour! And what does his manager says to him? Slow down, take your time! If they do not slow down, they looked bad with others!! Ha? What others? The other places with the census workers? In a real world, in a real job, your manager will fire you if you are slow ar taking your time!!! He is making $15.25 an hour! I would like to have a job like this please! So, what did this worker do? Submitted his claim for 35 to 40 houses, for 2 hours,double his original time!!!! What is wrong with this picture??? Goodness gracious!!!! He told the journalist that he is really wasting taxpayers money! BIG TIME!!!Another worker e-mailed the journalist that he is to have a head count of homeless people in the park, streets and other areas, noting their race and gender. He claimed in one instance, the task was already done, but he was sent back to do a duplicate job!!! I cannot believe what is happening in the Census Bureau!Is this for real? Is the taxpayer's money really being misused in this instance??? Is our money being mishandled inappropriately? What is happening is so sad. Why are you sad? For one thing, it is not your personal money. It is everybody's money!!! True, but the money being wasted here can be put to better use, like housing for homeless people, more money for kids to go to higher education, or give the money to struggling people that cannot make ends meet because of the economy! If you were one of the workers, will you get satisfaction from this job, knowing you are corrupting the system, and using the hard earned dollars of your fellow citizens????

Birthdays

What is a birthday? Why do I want to hear your definition of birthday? Who cares about your definition? Everyone should know what is a birthday! Ding-a -ling!!! Didn't we all come from the tummy of a woman??? What else is there to know? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!!! Okay, do not be mad! Get glad!!! Oh, Oh!!! Now, I feel like a commercial! Oops.Why is it that birthdays are eagerly celebrated when you are young or very old? When you are young, you like to get presents!! You couldn't care less about anything else except the presents! Your party might be in a fast food restaurant, where they give you balloons and hamburgers, or it could be in a pizza place where, of course, you eat pizza, then get tokens for the different games. Sometimes, you are unprepared for how quickly the children's tokens disappear! Then you come scrambling in your pockets to satisfy and keep the children occupied and quiet! Hmmm.... I see you smiling! Memories??? Only good memories on this occasion.Sometimes, children gets fancy. They want their birthday party in a skating rink! That is right! A skating rink! Goodness gracious, I cannot skate! You dumbo, the children would not want you to skate with them! Just book it , leave them so they can have a good time, away from the parents prying eyes! Sounds familiar?? I see heads bobbing up and down! You stay outside of the rink and just watch the kids having a good time! If they are happy and satisfied, the parents are too. Right?How about the birthday parties held in an adult atmosphere to satisfy the adults? What am I talking about? Going to a restaurant that has dancing! What? For a little girl or boy's birthday party? That is right! The little one cannot complain, he or she does not even know what is going on. All he knows is that he is getting lots of presents!!! My, Oh My!!! The aduls are sooo happy that they dance until the wee hours of the night with the poor birthday celebrant past asleep on the couch!!! This is just an excuse to get together for an evening of fun! I cannot blame anybody for this! We are just following the saying" All work and no play makes Jack a dumb boy!" Right????How about the in between ages? You out grow the parties. When you become a teenager, all you want is the green bucks to go shopping!!!! Which is good, no hassle, no mess to clean! As you turn 21, you celebrate! You can drink!!! You can drink water and pop anytime, you do not have to wait until you are 21! Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh, my gosh! You know what I am talking about! Do not pretend like an idiot. You speak English! You know what I mean!!! Okay, do not be mad, I am just playing with you!!! Ha! Ha! Then as you grow older,30s,40s, 50s or 60's, you really try to forget your birthday. You do not want to be reminded that you are old! That you are no longer a spring chicken that can do things a 20 year old can! You do not want to be reminded of the aches and pains that you feel associated with the golden years! Right? Speak for yourself! There are people in their 80's who can still function! Look at Buzz Aldrin, a contestant in the Dancing with the Stars, he can still move! Ya right, move, my butt! He cannot hardly move!!! That is why he was eliminated! And I am glad he was booted off! It seems all he can say is something about his space odyssey and being patriotic! What is wrong with that? I think that is very commendable! You are right! To this, I salute Buzz for being the second person to walk in the moon!! Hep! Hep! Hurray!!! I can never salute Buzz for dancing! Not in a million years!!!! He is very stiff and has two left feet!!! What do you expect with an 80 year old? Let me see how you function when you are 80! Oh, Oh!!! Back to birthdays.Before we go back, there is one thng bugging me.... birthday suit! When and where did it originate? Yup! I am really curious why it is called a birthday suit! When you have a birthday, you don't run around in your buff! Or is it just me? Can you imagine, if all the birthday celebrants in a given day runs around with a birthday suit, there will be a lot of birthday celebrants in jail!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Unimaginable!!!!!! That is sooo funny, but not really! So please, anyone, please enlighten me how it came about, and who started it? I am sure not a lot of people know where it came from and how the words were concocted! You agree???? Back to birthdays.......When you are 100 years old, it seems everyone wants a piece of you! They give you a birthday party, and a big one at that. Then people send your picture on the newspaper! You couldn't care less,you are 100! You might not even know who these people are! These people just want their pctures in the newspaper! Right??? Wrong!!! Some 100 year old can still function good! They are very active, sure they might be hard on hearing or seeing, but their mind is still sharp!!! Is this not incredible?? Why can't all 100 year olds have a normal, independent lives? Is that asking too much???? If that is the case, then the fountain of youth has been discovered!! That is not the fountain of youth, you just have a sharp mind hiding in a shriveled, wrinkly body, like a prune!!!! Oh, well. Anyway, we all love birthdays, at least inwardly. If you are by yourself, just record the birthday song in different tape recorders, then play it very loud. Have a piece of cake, blow the candles and enjoy your day!!! Celebrity Apprentice, Episode 04042010

Why am I blogging ( Wow!! it seems I am at ease now with the word blogging!!! I am soo impressed!! Ha! Ha! Ha! You have come a long way, Baby!!!! You better believe it! Do I feel smarter? Not really!!!!) about celebrity apprentice again? Because I thought the former Illinois governor was sooooooo stupid, with a capital S!!! What is so stupid about him? Let us go back to the episode, first, okay? Well, both project leader, Rod Blagojevich for the men and Selita Ebanks, from the women's team volunteered without even knowing what their task is all about! Dumb! Very dumb move!!! Can you believe that?
Anyway, both of them were whisk to Orlando, Florida to see the new Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studio in Orlando. Their team does not have any idea were they went, and they are suppose to give instructions by long distance.What was the task? To create an interactive three dimensional display to launch the new Harry Potter theme park in Universal Orlando. The two executives of the park, together with some kids will see which display they liked best.
You should have seen Selita and Rod in the Harry Potter park! Selita, a Victoria Secret model was busy snapping pictures left and right while Rod was just going around, observing, like he is in la la land. When they were giving instructions to their team mates, Selita was busy e-mailing or texting! What was the ex-governor doing??? Not a thing!!! Soooo stupid!!!! I was ready to fall off my chair watching him with the computer! I do not think he even knows how to turn on the computer, let alone e-mail or text. Well, He used to be a governor, so he did not do all those things. He had many assistants to cater to his every call and demand, that is why he is very illiterate when it comes to computers!!! I guess after this, you will try to learn, huh, Governor!???? You will no longer have any assistants to help you out!
The women, of course, won again!! Hep! Hep! Hurray!!! Even though the women were feuding, with personal attacks on each other, they still came through victorious! I guess there will be constant feuding among these bunch of menopaused, egoistic celebrities when they are together in one place! Don't you think so? Right! I know I am right!!! I was also so surprised that Selita, the model, knows the modern technology! I thought the women will surely lose with her as project manager. I was wrong!!! You really cannot judge a book by its cover! I am so impressed with her. I thought she is one of those models, that all she knows is to show her skin, walk in the runway and smile!I was surprised that the ex-gov did not ask help from Selita. Did he think he was above her? Or just his ego got the best of him? On the other hand, do you think Selita would have helped him? I don't think so either! But Rod could have tried at least! Too late!!!
Anyway, I was surprised by the tenacity showed by the ex-gov. The Donald did not want to fire him, so he kept repeating if he wants to bring Bret to the boardroom. His answer was always a resounding no! Maybe Donald did not want to fire him because he is a controversial person, and controversy gets lots of attention! More attention, higher ratings!!! Right??? Too bad, Mr Donald Trump!!!! Or maybe, Trump did not want to fire him because they almost look alike... look at their hair!!! Do you see the resemblance??? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Stop! I cannot stop laughing, you moron!!!
I think the demise of the ex-gov in the men's team is good. He does not really do anything except talk and be a politician! He is trying to always talk to people and be in the limelight! Who cares about you ex-gov? Good riddance to him, guys!!! You are better off without him!!!! Adios Rod, you were fired again! This time by Donald Trump!!!!

Homelessness

What is homelessness? It is sleeping rough. It is a condition where people are unable to maintain a regular, safe and adequate housing. They lost a fixed nighttime residence. Sad, very sad, indeed.There is a new wave of homeless people of men, women, and families. They moved out to the streets,their cars, or the homeless shelters because they lost their income. That is right! They lost their incomes because of the recession, housing foreclosures and high unemployment. What can be the cause of this problem??? Greed and love of money for businesses. Why is that? The businesses want more profits generated! How can they accomplish their goal? Outsourcing jobs! A lot of jobs were sent overseas because the pay is peanuts!!!!You cannot blame the business, because you will do the same if you are them!!!! Am I right?? Maybe, but if you have compassion, you will feel the pain of your workers, and will think twice before outsourcing jobs!How many times have I called a large company, only to be talking to someone in India! That is right! India!!!! Wouldn't that be more expensive since it is thousands of miles away from here??? That is why, there is a place in India that is like a city in Florida. The houses are well manufactured, complete with grass and other things that we have here! You will say, that is good! Spread the wealth around!!! That is good, but we should take care of our own first, on our own backyard. Right???? The employees that the companies hired in India were all young people, not "old foggies." Ha! Ha! Ha! I cannot believe you said that! Anyway, some of these young people said that with the rate they are going, they can retire at age 40!!! Wow!!! People in the states cannot even afford to retire at age 70!!! Now, back to homelessness.....Do you know that the greatest percentage of homeless people are in Los Angeles, New York and Detroit? And majority of these people are men and families with children! The local churches sometimes take turns in housing the homeless two weeks at a time, which is good. At these two weeks, they have decent food and they can take showers. But after that, what? Back to the streets!!!There is also a growing number of homelessness on elderly Americans. This year, there were over 44,000 homeless. Why is that? Some lost their savings in the stock market, others are relying just on social security, which is not much. Around 2.6% of Americans over the age of 65 is living in extreme poverty! That does not sound right! Of course it does not sound right! These people have worked hard all their life just to live miserably on their golden years?? What do you think should be done with homelessness? The government, with the help of the very wealthy can help alleviate the problem. But the wealthy are too busy increasing their wealth and the politicians are too engrossed with their own agenda! They do not give a damn about homeless people!!! Oh, Oh!!! What do you guys think? Am I right or not????I wrote to a local politician about my concern with this problem. Did I get a response? Of course not! It went to deaf ears!!!! I knew I will be ignored, but I tried anyway. Nothing to lose by trying!How could America, the greatest and wealthiest country in the world have problem about homelessness? We are so busy with the entire world, that we forget our own backyard! If the higher ups look around their surroundings, and see what is wrong, maybe something will be done! Unless, there is a different agenda around the globe by the powerful and elite about the citizens of the whole world????

Duty Call

Guess where I have been all day???? Jury duty!!!! I thought it will be a breeze, only four hours. That is what some friends and relatives said when they were called! They were wrong! wrong! wrong! I reported at 8:30 am and did not get out of the court house until 5:00 pm!!!! That is more than 8 hours!!!! There were 250 prospective jurors in the room at 8:30 am. First, there was an orientation for 10 minutes, followed by a video presentation for half an hour. Then a judge came to give a " pep" talk, that there used to be only slaves and followers. Then the citizens became involved and there came the government, with its three branches. He further said that we are exercising our rights as citizens of this country by being on jury duty. He also touched the Bill of Rights!!! I thought I was in school again!!! Boring!!! What do you mean boring? Do you still remember the 3 branches of the government? Of course!!! Excuse me!!! Oh, well, just think of it as a refresher course, in case you become a contestant in Jeopardy!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! This judge must really like to talk! It took him around 1 hour!!! I am not joking! Then there were 3 groups of around 40 per group that was carted off to the courtroom. By 11:45 am, 30 people were sent home! I was one of those not too lucky to stay. It was announced to us that there will still be jury selection after lunch! Before lunch, there was a break for 15 minutes. I thought the refreshments will be free! It was not! I paid $2.65 for a bottle of pop and granola bar. The lady beside me was smart, very smart! She brought her own apple, water and sandwich! I stayed in the building and had lunch. Do you know what I had? It gave me a stomach ache! A cup of some kind of a rice soup, that has few carrots and maybe chicken that passed through the soup! Ha! Ha! Ha! I also had grilled cheese and left over from break. Do you know how much my lunch cost, with the 10 % discount? $3.80! You are El Cheapo!!! There were other things in the menu which to me did not look too appetizing, like hamburger, lasagna and others. It seems the courthouse is making quite a bit of money everyday from would be jurors, or if it is not the government, the business that got the bid! Just think, 250 prospective jurors, snacks and lunches!!!! That is money spent in the building! Especially today, that the weather was bad outside!After lunch, about 2 hours, the clerk started calling juror numbers again! The lady beside me was laughing, because I stiffened listening to the numbers called. Shucks, my number was called! The 40 people were hauled in the courtroom. The jury selection and the elimination process began. The first 14 were called and questioned by both the prosecutor and defense attorney. Two people were eliminated because of their answers. They were replaced and questioned. Three more people were eliminated. All together there were 14 would be jurors excused because of their profession and answers. It is a good thing the judge, and attorneys showed compassion to women that have problems with small kids! Hurray!!! There are still compassionate people out there. I didn't know that jury selection can be that painful, tedious and long! I guess both sides want people that will give a good, unbiased verdict. Can you blame them? Each lawyer wants to win their case! The trial is scheduled for 2 to 3 days! You should have seen the remaining 15, that include me, when both sides said they were satisfied with their jury selection! You should have seen the relief in our faces. Alleluia!!! I didn't know it can be that tiring to sit in the uncomfortable bench in the court room! But it is also interesting and intriguing to watch the proceedings. The lawyers were questioning each jurors and if they were out of line, the judge reminds them! It is like a mini trial without the witnesses!!!! We, the 15 people, can go home and not worry about coming back tomorrow!! !! I also did not know that jury selection is up to 70 years old! The people over 70 is exempted unless they want to be on jury duty! I learn something new everyday!!! This is also an experience that you only see on television and here you are experiencing it today! Wow! I did my duty as a citizen today!!!!
