Fishing

Let us go fishing!!!! When you hear those words, you go yuck! yuck! yuck!!! Why??? It seems like all you do is wait for the fish to go to your fishing rod!!! You have to wait for a very long time before you can catch a fish! And if you catch one, it is not a good fish! It is a carp!!! How do you know it is not a good fish?? It is big and does not look like the one you see on the stores!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! So, all big fish are carps??? All you see in the stores are fillet, so you wouldn't know what a carp is!!! Does anyone eat carp? I do not know! We do not know because there are other good fish out there like bass, trout, salmon, and tilapia, just to name a few!!!

To start with fishing, you need a fishing rod. My, my, my, now she is going to tell us the art of fishing! Do you know how to fish??? You are losing my thought, so I am going to ignore you!!! You will also need a fishing license before you can go fishing. When you are ready, you need bait, which can be artificial or natural baits like worms or minnows. Are you impressed now??? Not really! Worms!!! Yikes!!! That is soo wriggly and slimy!!! Do you have to touch it to put on your hook?? How else can you put it on the fishing equipment, you dumbo??? Okay, then, you will need to bring gloves to place the worm on your hook!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! You are insane!!! Gloves to put worms on the hook!!! Who else could think of such a thing??? To make it worthwhile, why don't you just bring a chair, a radio, a book, a cooler and a friend?? Do not forget a hat and a suntan lotion!!! Goodness gracious!!! We are going fishing, not a picnic!!!! Well, since fishing is a laid back project, you need all the help you can get so your outing will not be boring!!! Does this make sense??? Of course, it does!!! Wait!!!! We forgot the most important thing! What?? Food!!! Ayyayay!!! You always think of food! I give up on you!! If we do not catch any fish, we will be hungry. Right??? This is plan B! We always have to have a plan B!!! How about another plan?? What other plan? Instead of fishing, I was thinking that we should just go to a seafood restaurant. There we will be able to eat good seafood and there will not be any hustle!!! That is not fun, though! Think of what fishing will put on your table.... a very fresh fish!!! True, but think of how many hours you spent trying to catch one!!! Just think of it as a carefree, lazy one summer day!!!! You win, let us go fishing!!

Oh, my, 2 hours passed, no fish; four hours, something is moving... quick, quick, do something!!! There is a fish on our line!!! But before you can move, the fish was gone!!! The fish just ate the bait, and it seems to have winked at you and said," Ha! Ha! Ha! You guys are ninkampoof! You do not know how to fish! Sayonara, baby. You just lost a very yummy dinner. Better luck next time." At that point, you are ready to throw your fishing pole on the water. You do not want to accept defeat, so you put another bait and patiently waited for another fish to take the bait. You are losing your patience, the food and drinks are almost gone. You are tired of waiting patiently.

What do you do so your fishing expedition did not go in vain?? Out you headed to a fish market! What??? There you bought a few large whole fish, not cleaned. Oh, oh, I am afraid to ask what you did next??? The fish were hooked together and pictures were taken pretending the fish were caught on the fishing outing!!! Stop!!! I am falling off my chair laughing!!! He! He! He!! You are soooo crazy!!!! Now, you can show off your pictures with the fish and can really say that you had a good time!!! Ingenious??? No, crazy, with a capital C!!!!

Probably, the place you went do not have a lot of fish! You should have done your homework first to see where there is an abundance of fish and not go fishing to the first water you see!!! With good planning, your day would not have been fishless ( excuse me, is there such a word?? Who knows, but I will use it anyway!!! Do you have a problem with that??? Tsk...tsk.. testy, testy..testy..Oh, oh...), and it will truly be a day to remember with a very good catch!!!!
