The latest featured undercover boss is Henrik Slipsager, President and CEO of ABM Industries. ABM Industries is the largest service contractor offering janitorial, parking, maintenance, engineering and security services.
The CEO, as usual traded his mansion and large office to work with the people in the bottom of his company. It is the same old storyline from the other undercover boss! What else can they do, except that? The outcome too, is the same...the CEO introduces himself to his trainers and gives them some kind of a reward, either a vacation, scholarship or a promotion! This is fine and dandy. My only qualm is ...how about the others in the company that works as hard as the few chosen ones?? Just say sorry ro these folks because they did not have the luck to be with the big honcho?? That is not fair! Is anything fair in this twisted world of ours? Comments, anyone?
It is also the same old story that the CEO fails miserably on his task and gets fired for the first time in his life! This happened in this episode when he was driving an airport shuttle bus with Kenny. Kenny thought that he was too slow and complained how heavy the bags are! Well, for one thing, the CEO is old! Ahem, excuse me...mature! Okay...mature and wise! That is better and more pleasing to the ears for the mature people, is it not??
Then he also cleans toilets and wash windows! Had he ever cleaned before? I do not think so! Of course, it is out of his comfort zone, so he will be very slow and not proficient!
I think they should try a different storyline for the undercover boss. Like what? It is for the writers and producers to decide! I am sure they have brilliant writers with grand ideas that can be put into the storyline! It is getting too monotonous and boring! Then why do you watch? There is nothing else to watch! Plus I do not really stay and watch it. I move around during the show! But some people like it. It is the same content...it is missing something that is hard to explain! Hopefully, they will change some of their format!
