Who among you yearns to go back to the uncomplicated life of yesterday? I see a lot of hands. You will say, life then is not as complicated as now. For one thing, technology is simple, no texting and no computers. Sigh!!! But we have to be thankful for all the new gadgets that have come up because of new technology! Then was better, price wise on food, and gas , among other things! Food is much cheaper, not $2.00 a loaf, and gas is not $2.79 a gallon. Just wait and see for the massive CO2 taxes that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is going to impose to everyone very soon! EPA will declare that CO2 is a dangerous global warming gas and will regulate its emissions! What does this mean to us? Every American will have to pay more of their hard earned dollar for absolutely no good reason. The big global warming, some people say, is a hoax, Antarctic sea ice continues to expand, gaining ice since 1979, the last study! What do you guys out there think??? This means that we will have to pay $7.00 to $8.00 for a gallon of gas and 2 to 3 times higher electricity! Heaven forbids! We are already squirming with the $2.79 cost of gas, how much more if it is $8.00????? Can we stop this? I don't think so, I think we are too late!!! . This also means that businesses will lose millions because of increased operating costs! Oh, oh.... So, what? So, that means the remaining manufacturing sector will transfer to China, where the energy is cheaper and CO2 is not a concern to them!!! They are probably saying... Dumb, people, What the heck is CO2?!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! You are losing more jobs!!!!Then, we can leave our houses unlocked. What happens if we do that now?? You are asking for big,big trouble!!!! You can also trust people then... leave your children playing outside, and the parents do not have to worry! How about now? You have to guard your kids with your life for fear that something might happen to them in your own backyard!!!!!Then, the family is a closely knit enterprise, with the kids respecting their elders. How about now? We see broken families because of divorces and greed on money issues. Some kids do not have respect for the older generation, let alone life! Look at the senseless killing that is happening nowadays! This is sad, Absolutely sad!!!! Boo Hooo!!! What are you going to do about it? I do not know! We can preach all we want, but who will listen? It will just go in on one ear, and out the other ear!!! I think we can only do one thing, unite together in prayer. That is right! PRAY!!! My, Oh, my!!! You sound now like a very righteous person!!! No, I am not! All I want is world peace! And I believe, prayers help! After all, miracles do happen, is it not?????

Final Four
I was going to write something else today, but decided I do not want anything that spell doom and gloom on Easter weekend!!! Hence, I decided to write something on the NCAA Final Four!!!! I bet not everybody knows what the Final Four is! Am I right??? The Final Four are the 4 best teams in college basketball that remains standing after bouts of elimination!! From those four will emerge the 2010 National Champions!!! The men's college basketball games of the creme of the crop will be battled out at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana which is the nation's 13th largest city. The games will start today, the eve of Easter Sunday. We will see the Butler University's bulldogs play against Michigan State Spartans! Then there is West Virginia's Mountaineers against Duke's Blue Devils! Which ever team wins today will battle it out on Monday for the championship trophy!!! I have not really been following the games, but it has been in the news all the time! How could I miss it??? The players of the four great teams will again display their talent, toughness, and determination for the quest to be #1 in 2010 NCAA Basketball! Their coaches are more than ready for each other! Butler Bulldogs under the leadership of Brad Stevens is the underdog in the game with the Spartans. If Butler wins, they will undoubtedly be a Cinderella or " Cinderball" story! Is there such a word? Ha! Ha! Ha! Is that word a nice concoction or what???? Butler also has a home court advantage, which I think is not fair!!! What is not fair? The Spartans had the home court advantage last year in Detroit against North Carolina! Did they win, despite home advantage? No!! So, do not tell me about home court advantage!!! There you go, Spartans, you heard it from here! Go, green!!! Go, get the Bulldogs!!!! On the other hand, Michigan State Spartans, under the capable leadership of Tom Izzo, is very hungry for the trophy! After all, this is the second time they have been in the final four!!! I bet you that they are going with vengeance to get the trophy, even with 3 players that has injuries! Then there is Mike Krzyzewski's Duke Blue Devils. They are tall and physical. They are playing against Bob Huggins' West Virginia Mountaineers, who has a very good offense! West Virginia, I believe is the favorite to win the NCAA title. That remains to be seen with the Spartans! Besides, the ball is round and anything can happen!!A lot of people will not be able to watch tonight's basketball game, since there is an Easter Vigil mass. Oh, well. We have to be fed spiritually too!!! Who do you guys think will be victorious tonight??? The Bulldogs or the Spartans? The Blue Devils or The Mountaineers??? I guess we will just have to wait and see. The waiting is probably agonizing, not only to the coaches and players, but also with the fans of these four fine basketball teams!!!! Oh,well! Patience is a virtue!!! I salute these four teams and their coaches, but unfortunately, there will be winners and there will be losers. I hope the Spartans will conquer the Bulldogs tonight! GO GREEN!!!!!!!!!

Movies
Going to the movies is quite expensive nowadays. Example is avatar. There are 3 different versions to see the movie: regular screening, IMAX where you spend a few dollars more, and the 3d which is the ultimate , but you have to pay more. We opted for the regular movie, since I am cheap first of all, plus the 3D is hard on the eyes. It was worth to see it though. Nice sceneries which is out of this world.

Blog! Blog! Blog!
Hi! Welcome to my blog! This is the fifth day I have this blog corner. I am telling myself, what am I doing here blogging? I am not computer savvy, but I am trying to learn. First of all, what is the meaning of the word "BLOG?" Is that the slang for talk? So, instead of saying Blog! Blog! Blog!, I can just say Blah! Blah! Blah! Ha! Ha! Ha! And the latter is easier to say and nicer to the ears, in my opinion. What do you guys and girls out there think? Where does the word " BLOG" originate? Who started it, what is the word origin and when did it start? Is it now in the dictionary? Oh, oh, does that sound like this is the spelling bee contest? Sort of, but it is intriguing to learn all about blog, don't you agree? I am sure, some people out there does not know it either, but they just nod their heads so people think they know. They do not want to admit they are not smart, after all. Oh,oh, I can hear expletives on the background! Do I hear tomatoes being thrown at me also? Do not be alarmed, there is still hope. Ha! Ha! Ha! By the way, what am I talking about? To know or not to know the word " BLOG" is not a measure of being smart or not! Of course, it is not! Do I hear a sigh of relief now? Yes, you do! Your words make me nervous. Oh, well. But am I right or what? If I take a survey right now, what do you think will it be? Do you think 20 %, 50 % or 80 % will know what blog means, together with its history? I bet it will be only 20%! People do not care all about this, they just say the word and that's it! They will say, who cares? We are not in school, and we are here to have fun!!!! I am here to have fun also, but at the same time I have an inquisitive mind. I want to know! So, everybody out there, enlighten me about this, so I can put the word in the back burner and give it a rest. Then all of us will be more smarter, don't you agree? How about it? BLOG! BLOG! BLOG! or BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!

Chicken Noodle Soup
I am sure that everybody knows how to make chicken noodle soup. Oh,oh. Not everybody. Babies, young kids, and teenagers does not know how. Ha! Ha! Okay. Let's start over. I am sure that everybody, except babies, young kids and teenagers knows how to make chicken noodle soup. You start with chicken ( of course!), boiled and diced. What will be the best part of the chicken to use for soup? I think it depends on the person if you want white meat or dark meat. Personally, I think you should boil chicken with the bones, because the bones will make it taste better. Am I right or not? Then you add noodles, carrots, celery, spices, and continue cooking until the noodles and veggies are tender. I use egg noodles except it becomes soggy after heating over and over again. Any recommendations of the perfect noodle to use? You might say, do not make a lot of soup. But soup is good especially on a cold winter night and when you are sick, isn't it?Has anybody been in a restaurant that when you taste the soup, it looks like the chicken just came through the soup on stilts? Thats's right! Chicken on the stilts! On your soup! Yikes!! It just taste like water, and you just add plenty of salt and pepper! How about that time, you ate in a restaurant, chicken noodle soup that is very salty. They probably can use the soup to salt the freeways during a snowstorm! Ha! Ha! Ha! Veru funny!!! They should just have named the chicken soup, " salty chicken noodle soup". I wonder if there will be takers? Probably, because people will think what is that? Is that a new dish? I want to taste it! It might have an exotic ingredient. People can be gullible, don't you guys think? They wouldn't know that what all the restaurant did was to add a lot of chicken bouillon. Isn't salt bad for people with high blood pressure and cholesterol? So, what do you do, if you encounter this in a restaurant? Tell the server, or just keep quiet and eat? Bear and eat???Tell me your opinion. Keep on blogging!
