Today is a sad day for all Americans. It has been 10 years ago on September 11, 2001 at 8:42 am that horrific event unfolded. It has been an agonizing disaster that everyone in America will never forget and will forever be etched on everybody's mind.
Have we all changed? Do I think everybody changed? I am not really sure, but I think everyone has become vigilant and fearful of everything! Why is that? Well, for one thing, no one knows when a calamity like this will happen again! Heaven forbids but I do hope & pray that we will not see anything again as horrific as this!
Has our country changed? Our country has definitely changed! Look at all our surroundings....there is a surveillance camera all over the place...at the airport, work place, streets, etc, etc...Seem because of the 9/11, we have ceased to become a democratic country! Sure, we all can still go around our business, but our democratic way of life is changing! Don't you all agree??? It is really sad that after all these years, America that we love is a different country!
Could 9/11 be prevented? Were there people that knew what was coming but ignored it? It seems that with all of the sophisticated technology that we have, that it could have been prevented, is it not? Who knows? Only God knows! And whoever did this will answer to Him on his last day!
Why was the 10th year memorial without any prayers or clergy? That was sooo sad...are we not a nation under God?? I really do not know why the mayor of New York City did that! I really think that some of our countrymen have lost it! They do not want to mention God! That is what the problem is in our country..we have become a country without faith....that is why God's wrath is upon us. Look at all the things happening all around us...earthquakes, fire, floods, etc, etc....We, as a nation should try to re-establish our relationship with God. We should put back prayer and God in our daily lives. Without God, our country will be in a mess, which we are already. Can we, as a nation, go back to being the greatest democratic nation on earth? Only with God's help. And every citizen of the United States should unite in prayer because it cannot be done with just a few. So, how about it? Let's start to put God back in our lives. Who knows, maybe our country will turn around for the better, the one world government will not go through as planned, and there will be world peace!

9/11 Ninth Anniversary
Yesterday was the 9th anniversary of the horrific, brutal day that killed the lives of 2,977 men and women. Innocent lives that were lost 9 years ago!!! For what??? For the glory of the 19 terrorists and their co-horts that hijacked 4 Boeing 757's and attacked American civilians!!!
9/11 is an unforgettable day for many, many people. I remembered that I was at work when I heard it. I remembered that all of us at work were so grief stricken and had utter disbelief of the catastrophe that had engulfed the United States!!! There were 4 hijacked airlines, Flight 93 the last of the 4 hijacked airlines which plummeted to the ground near Shanksville, Pennsylvania on its way to the White House or the Capitol. Thank goodness for the bravery and courage of some men who fought the hijackers!!! They were heroes that averted another catastrophic incident!!!
Why did the terrorists chose New York and Washington as targets??? For obvious reasons!!!! What??? They are the 2 most symbolic cities in the United States, New York being the center of finances, and Washington, the center of government!!! Because of that devastating incident, the twin towers was gone forever and so with the thousands of lives of innocent people!!!! That is soooo sad. America will never be the same again!!!!
Can we heal and move on after this tragedy??? Of course, we will, but it will take time. Time heals pain, but we have a long way to go for our anger, grief and suspicion to die down!!! We are a tolerant nation, but this is one of those times that the American people will not forget for quite sometime!!!!
Because of 9/11, our lives have changed forever!!! Gone are those carefree, democratic way of life that we know. Sure, we are still free to move around, but every move we take is somewhat recorded in a camera or whatever. When we go to board a plane, it takes forever to be screened through the security. The security gets more complicated and more modern and our whole body goes through the security! Nothing is sacred anymore!!! If the security is not satisfied with the electronic view of our body, then they resort to a pat and search!!!! Ay...ya...yay!!!! But this is better for the people because it puts our mind at ease that we can travel safely around the world!!!!
What happens in Ground Zero??? First of all, it is a sacred ground, a resting place for some on that dark, gloomy and horrific day. A place where the grim reality became known that Americans are hated soooo much for their love of freedom and their tolerant attitude. A grim reality that there are indeed people out there that will push to such lengths as to destroy property and lives of innocent people!!!! And what sort of human beings would resort to such violence???? People that do not have gods or pretend to worship something that is inhuman and laughs at the misery of not only America but the whole world!!!! What happens to Ground Zero is a good question!!!! We all hope and pray that no one in their right minds will erect something that will be sooooo despicable to the nation that was put in shambles on that gloomy Tuseday morning!!!! We also have to pray for those people that changed the course of everybody's lives. May they repent and realize what damage their cruel intentions have done not only to America but the whole world, not only physically, but also mentally!!!
May God protect us all from all the evil that is upon this great nation of ours. Let us all pray for peace in the whole world!!!!

Mega Mosque at Ground Zero
There has been a lot of news of a mega mosque to be built at Ground Zero since last year, so I thought I will put in my 2 cents worth of spill!!!
A 61 year old Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf paid a whopping $4.85 million in cash for the 50,000 square feet of property!!! That is a lot of money!!! Hmmm...........It is no wonder it was approved immediately by the members of a Manhattan community board!!! From what I have read, the money paid should have been investigated first where it came from!! Comments, anyone????
The intention of the mega mosque was to bring new business to the area of Manhattan which was devastated as a result of the horrific incident of 9/11, where almost 3,000 lives were lost!!!! It will be a 13 story Muslim Mosque overlooking the grounds where the 9/11 innocent people lost their lives!!!! How pathetic this will be, not only to the relatives and friends of the people who lost their lives for nothing, but also to all the American people!!! It will be a constant reminder of the horror of 9/11, and to have a mosque built near the sacred place??? No way!!! The New York City bigwigs should think twice, three times, or a million times to have such a place built near Ground Zero!!! Ha!!! What are you talking about??? It has already been approved, and the construction will commence soon!!! Oh, no!!!! They are even going to have the grand opening on the 10 year anniversary, in 2011!!!! How insensitive this is to the American people, and some Americans do not even care!!! Money sure talks!!! After all, $4.85 million is a lot of money for a deteriorating place!!!!
There was a huge rally last Sunday, June 6th, which was sponsored by Pamela Geller, founder of Stop Islamization of America, and a blogger who runs the human rights web site, " Atlas Shrugs", and Robert Spencer, author of several books on Islam, and head of the web site," Jihad Watch." They were joined by 5,000 ( NYPD) to 10,000 multi - ethnic, multi - racial coalition from America, Iran, India, Russia, Egypt, Israel, Africa, Europe, etc, and the parents and spouses of frefighters killed on 9/11. They are planning another rally in September, and again when construction begins.
The rally took place just a minute walk from Ladder 10 Firehouse who lost 7 firefighters on that horrific, terrible day!!!! There was an absence of major networks nor camera crews, only bloggers in the internet!!! I wondered why??? Was it censored??? For what purpose??? I also heard something about the government trying to control the internet!! Is this true???? Does anyone have comments????
This subject is really intense!!!! I think the plan to build a mega mosque at Ground Zero is not good!!! It is insensitive, inappropriate regardless of intentions!!!! Positive would not come out of it because of the horrors associated to the place!!! Imagine, almost 3,000 killed, and some unaccounted for!!!! The place is a cemetery, a burial gound!!!!
What there should be near Ground Zero is a memorial, complete with a huge mall, and entertainment center! I am sure that if someone organize a collection for this purpose, everybody will pitch in!!!! Ya!!!! How about that???? Then there will be a revival and joy in the place that will commemmorate the people that lost their lives, one day in 2001!!!! What do you think, guys???? Any comments??????
