Has
anyone visited KAMAY NI HESUS at Lucban, Quezon? We were blessed to
have Father Joey Faller, the founding healing priest of Kamay Ni Hesus
last Friday, July 13th. He was invited by a local benefactor doctor and
Father Joey had a healing mass at St Rene Church in Troy, Michigan. It
was well attended by the faithful which started with a mass ( English
and Tagalog) at 7 pm and by 10 pm it was still going on.
Father
Joey showed us videos of the magnificent shrine at Lucban, Quezon with
thousands of pilgrimages every day. He told us his story and how his
right hand (index finger and small finger curled) became a resemblance
of the Sto Nino 's hand. He is an excellent speaker and very
entertaining.....you will not be bored listening to him.
After
the mass, he had a very, very long white cloth wrapped around in the
Eucharistic adoration held by him to be touched by the people as it
travels from pew to pew. Purpose: extension of the healing power of the
Eucharist through the cloth so that people can go if one chooses not to
stay for the individual healing. He kept on praying as the cloth passed
though us. This is phase 1.
Phase 2 consisted of individual
healing touch. First batch were the cancer patients, followed by
children, disabled and everybody. He instructed people of how to hold
his hand and let go if you feel falling. I have seen this on TV and lo
and behold! I saw people falling and laying down on their backs in front
of the altar! Wow! What a sight! Father Joey further said that when you
approach the altar, do not think...let your heart be over your head.
There was a setback when it was time for all of us to have the
individual healing. There were ushers to direct the people by pew. It is
either the ushers does not know what to do so it became disorderly. Our
pew was supposed to be the first in line to go to the altar but people
behind us were cutting in. I called on the usher and told the people
that were going to cut in to wait their turn! I told the people behind
us " walang disiplina ang mga Filipino." They retreated and went back to
their pew! I also saw 2 Americans trying to cut in, I told them it is
by pew, and they retreated. After that, I turned and asked God for
forgiveness. Was I wrong?
It was our turn! My husband, son and I
were at last in front of the altar. My husband and I were paired
together and he was on my left side. My son was on my right paired with
another person. Father Joey instructed us to keep our feet close
together and our hands together, palms up, eyes closed. He held our
hands and prayed over us. I do not remember anything except I fell and
was on the ground for a good 5 minutes. I cannot move and I felt sooo
weak. I can feel and hear my husband tugging me on the left and my son
on my right. I heard someone said to keep her for a few minutes. It
seems I was the only one that was on the floor for the longest time! My
son thought I was dead until he saw my stomach heaving. OMG! I better
lose some weight! Ha! Ha! Ha!Then all of a sudden, he said, I was crying, tears
were flowing out of my eyes. At that point, a lady started to pray over
me. My son got uneasy and coached me to get up.
When I started
to walk, my son was laughing because my steps was like baby steps. I was
still feeling weak. We had to sit 2 or 3 more times and at one point I
laid down with my purse as my pillow. I was still crying. My son started
to laugh and giggle because of the tissues all over my face. I started
to laugh too. Thank you God for the gift of laughter! I was finally able
to walk straight as we reached the vestibule. Thank God, because my
husband was not able to move the car in front of the church to pick me
up. Alleliua!
Wow! Father said that some people who will have the
Holy Spirit on them will fall and some will cry. I experienced both.
Has anyone experienced this? What does it mean?
I thank God for this humbling experience and I pray that I will be more proactive with my Catholic faith!
Sorry for the lenghty post, and hope you guys did not get too bored. May God bless all of us and our family!
