Rosary
Rally 2016 was a huge success! We were one of the 16, 323 rallies
across the United States that prayed for the United States and the whole
world! Hip! Hip! Hooray!!!
I cannot believe that the Rosary Rally started in 2007. I remember vividly when I was recruited in 2007. I was just diagnosed with breast cancer and had mastectomy. I was at home recuperating and I managed to make phone calls and distribute pamphlets in churches across Detroit and the surrounding suburbs. It had to be God and the Blessed Mother that helped me accomplish all of this amidst my breast cancer journey. In 2008, I had the honor and privileged, together with my sister from Canada, to travel to Kansas and help recruit rally captains and rally participants all across the United States. It was a huge success and it continues to grow year after year after year! Alleluia!!! Praise be to Jesus Christ!!!
Our rally was held on the park, the same park we had been having our rally since 2008. It was such a gorgeous, beautiful day although it was a little bit on the chilly side with a little wind. We cannot complain since a few years back, we did our rally in between our parked cars since there was sleet, snow and it was windy....but we still managed to pray. How about that time that we had to do our rally under the rain with our hoodies and umbrellas...but we still managed to pray. One of the " ralliers" told me that she could not remember the time of the rally since the message was accidentally erased prematurely, but she and her husband decided to just drive and join us. Guess what? They arrived at 12 noon...I told them it must have been the Blessed Mother that guided them. I'm really amazed about my rally friends that had been with me since 2007! What a commitment these " ralliers ( hehehe....is there such a word?)" have to GOD and the BLESSED MOTHER!!! I really feel grateful and indebted to these marvelous, beautiful people for always making our rally a very successful one every year!
We started our rally at 12 noon sharp ( hehe, not Filipino time, sorry, I could not resist, my Filipino friends and relatives). We sang, prayed our intentions, prayed the Holy Rosary, Consecration, Litany etc. It was such a beautiful rally with amazing, caring, and wonderful "ralliers." We all felt blessed and cannot wait until next year's rally which will be on October 14, 2017, with the goal of 20,000 rallies. Please mark your calendars!
Since the weather was nice and we had some catching up with our friends, we stayed and socialized with each other. After all, we have not seen each other for a year! It was such a joyful, blessed, well spent Saturday afternoon with friends. We were all truly blessed!
I really cannot thank enough my wonderful " ralliers" who have been coming throughout these years through snow, sleet, rain or shine. Thank you also to the people that cannot be with us physically but joined us with prayers as we prayed. Thank you all for making 2016 Rosary Rally a huge success! See you all next year, God willing.
May God bless America and the whole world! May God bless all of us!!!
