HAPPY NEW YEAR JANUARY 4, 2018

2017 is gone! Can you believe that? Time flies indeed! I hope and pray that 2018 will be a better year for all of us, our country and the whole world!

My wishes for 2018? Peace in the whole world! Cessation of abortion in the whole United States and the whole world! That God will truly be back in everybody's life and God will continue to bless our dear country. Religious liberty and freedom will continue in our beloved country.

Let us all count our blessings and give thanks for the gifts of life, faith, family and friends and God’s unconditional love.

May 2018 be a great year to all.....good health, happiness, prosperity, love, hope and peace!

May God bless all of us!

ROSARY RALLY 2015 AUGUST 18, 2015

Rosary Rally 2015 will be held this year on October 10, 2015 with the goal of 14, 000 rosary rallies across the United States.

Rosary rally is coordinated nationally by America Needs Fatima ( Tradition, Family, Property). It always amazes me that every year they surpass their goal. How did they accomplish it? Of course...with the help of God and the Blessed Mother. Also there are many volunteers from all over the United States and Canada that go to Rossville, Kansas every year to call for volunteer rally captains.

My sister from Canada and I had the privilege to go to Kansas for a week in 2007 to recruit rally captains. We started our day daily with a rosary in the car, mass in a local church and breakfast in the office. Then we will hear the bell from Mr. Pierce signalling the start of our calls. We would pray and get our binders and stack of names to call people all over the United States to recruit them for the rally. It was amazing at the responses we had, and we hardly had anyone turning us down! And if someone needs an interpreter, there was always a caller that is bilingual! There was a great camaraderie with all the volunteer callers. There was no pressure at all!

We would break for lunch which was prepared by the volunteers, relatives and staff of America Needs Fatima. And...oh, boy! what a lunch it was all the time! We were also supplied with snacks, coffee, etc for our breaks. Lunch was a time to chat with new found friends and everyone was very happy and friendly.

After lunch, we were back to our stations for more calls. It was like a three ring circus, in a good way, with several of us calling people. We can hear how the caller gets so enthusiastic with their call that we cannot help but admire the volunteer caller with the grace, ease and friendliness of their tone on each of the calls they make. With that said, how could someone on the other end refuse to be a rally captain?

At around 5:00 in the afternoon, we would hear the bell signifying the end of the day. We would pray and head for the kitchen for dinner. It was always amazing at the food that they served to the volunteers. It was always a feast and so delicious! Kudos to the volunteers in the kitchen! They did a wonderful time feeding the volunteers. My sister and I want to thank them for the great spread they prepared everyday on our stay in Rossville, Kansas!

It was not all work and no play during our volunteer days in Rossville.  The volunteers had dinner at Mr. Slobodnick's (rally coordinator) house where we met Mr. Slobodnick's  family. We also had a dinner buffett in one local place and on the weekend, we had a sightseeing trip to the War Memorial Park which was amazing!

At first, when we saw the cornfields along the way when we arrived, my sister and I thought," we're in the middle of nowhere!" Was this a mistake?  What were we thinking? Reminiscing back, it turned out to be one the best week in our lives. It was a very enjoyable, reflective, fun filled and rewarding experience that my sister and I will never forget. Thank you all!

Please join a rosary rally near you. For more information go to America Needs Fatima. org

A Good Life

What constitutes a good life????? This is a very good question!!!!! A very good question indeed, that answers will range from riches to health to family life!!!!! How about you??? What do you think constitutes a good life??? Or rather, do you have a good life??? Many people will probably say they have a good life. They have a good job surrounded by family and friends!!!! Some people will say thay have a good life because they can buy everything that money can buy!!!! Many people will say they have a good life because they have good health!!!! Some people will say they have a good life because they are very successful and people recognize them wherever they go!!!!

Let us analyze each one of these answers!!!! Oh, no!!!! Here she is again with her analysis!!! Why??? Do you have a problem with that???? Ugh!!!! She is in a rare form again!!!! Just kidding!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! If you do not want to hear it, then I will stop!!!! Oh, oh, You hurt her feelings!!! Sorry!!!!! Okay, I am ready to rock n roll with the analysis!!!! Wow!!!! That was an easy 180 degree turn around from gloom to sunny and vibrant!!!!

A good job!!! Having a good job means you can live comfortably. You can pay your house notes, pay bills, buy food and other necessities in life!!!! Hold on!!! How about if you are just working for minimum wage???? I do not call that a good job!!! People with minimum wage cannot survive in this economy!!!! Any comments about this, anyone??? You can survive with minimum wage if you are a student living with your parents, or a retiree just trying to get up and do something to keep them from getting bored!!!! You can survive with minimum wage if this is not your only job!!!! Yikes!!!! That means having another job!!!! Goodness gracious!!!! If you have more than one job, there goes your family life!!!!! That is why the family structure is not as good as it was!!! It is hard enough as it is with one job!!!! Am I right???

Money!!!! Do you think you will have good life with lots of money???? Maybe, if you do not love your money soooo much that you think it is your god!!!! Yes, some people worship their money that all they can think off is how to get more money!!!! They forgot that there is someone up there that gave them the good fortune!!!! That is right!!!! The spiritual aspect gets lost in the quest for money!!!! Look at how many celebrities get in trouble!!!! They have money, fame and fortune, but they are still not happy!!!! Needless, to say, money does not constitute good life!!!! But if you do not have money, you will be in the poor house!!!! Then you will not be happy also!!!! You will not be able to afford your house, food etc. Is there a happy medium??? There always is, it is up to the individual!!!! What do you think????

Health!!!! Someone once told me that health is very important!!!! If you have money and you are not healthy, what is the use of having money???? Money just becomes a tool to buy medicine to prolong your life, your daily existence that might not be as joyful as you would like it to be!!!!

Family and friends!!!! Without family and friends, you are nothing!!! You will live a lonesome life. What is money and health if you do not have your loving family with you???? You do not have anyone that will be with you until the very end!!!! Sure, you can have acquaintances, but it is not the same!!! When you run out of money, these so- called friends will be gone also!!!! They are just in temporarily while you are in your glory days!!!!! Any comments????

So, what constitutes a good life???? It is not only one factor, but a combination of factors that is intertwined with each other!!!! And do not forget the most important thing!!!! God!!!!! We owe everything to Him!!!! Amen!!!!
