Memorial Day signals the start of summer. It is a three day weekend that people take advantage of to go to the beach, have barbecue with relatives and friends and just enjoy the day away from the hassles of every day life. It is a day of parades and fun for children and adults as well.
We should not forget though what this day truly represent. It is a day set aside for the men and women who have laid their lives in order to protect us, for which we should be indebted.
It is a day of remembrance and prayer for our love ones who have served in order for us to be free.
We cannot forget that Memorial Day is about honoring those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.
Have a safe, happy and blessed Memorial Day!

It's The Weekend!!!!
Did you guys missed me?? I have been off for a few days. You did not notice? Boo...hooo...You hurt my feelings!! Not!!! Why were you off?? It is a long story and it is almost 11 pm. I have time...... Sorry, I do not plus I am getting sleepy.
It is not really a long story. We had houseguests during Easter, which was really good! We had so much fun playing, talking, eating and spending the Easter holiday with each other. This are rare occasions now that I really appreciate it when families get together despite the hustle and bustle of everyday living. So, you had a great time during the Eater holiday? Of course!!! I hope you all did too!!
What is it with family?? You can be yourself, and you forget all the worries in the world. Is that right? Right! I did not even think of the high prices of food and gas last weekened! Now, I am back to reality! Bummer!!!
Oh, oh, here she comes now with her gripes!!! Come on...let's go! Listen, everyone....Did you see that gas is averaging now at $4.05/gallon. Wow! Suppose you only make minimum wage and your job is far, will you be able to afford your commute???
How about food? I noticed that the groceries are not jampacked as before with less cashiers. Have you all noticed it too?
Unemployment is still high! Someone just told me that there were hundreds of people that were turned down by a leading fast food place. Yikes!!! What in the heck is going on in our dear country?
I also read that in 5 years time, good ole USA will be out performed by China! Hopefully, America will not turn into a third world country as some people are predicting! What do you think? Will we let that happen?? What are we supposed to do??? I do not know! All I know is how to pray.... please, everyone....pray everyday for our country and the whole world that it will not succumb to a one world government that the few selfish elite wants to do!
Have a great weekend!!! May God bless America, the whole world and all of us!!!

Labor Day Weekend
Wow!!! Labor Day is here!!! Soon hot summer days will be a thing of the past again. No more shorts, no more tank tops, no more bathing suits, no more barbecue, no more white outfits!!! Pretty soon, it will be football season again, cold winter, dreary days and that white stuff falling from the sky!!!! Pretty soon, it will be new programs on television!!!! No more reruns!!!! Hep! Hep! Hurray!!!!
I like holidays, because it means seeing relatives and friends, parties and good eating!!! What I do not like about it is that I tend to overeat resulting in a wider waistline!!! I see a lot of heads bobbing up and down!!! What can we do so we do not overeat??? Nothing!!! Just keep eating and hopefully exercise after eating!!! I know, I know, it is easier said than done. Oh, well, just enjoy the day, the food and the companionship of the people surrounding us. We have to take advantage of these days because it seems it is hard to come by nowadays with everyone soooo busy with their lives!!! Sometimes we missed the camaraderie of our relatives and friends. Seize every opportunity with your love ones because life is short!!! Right???? Comments????
Right now, while I am writing the blog, I feel soooooo full that I think I will have to cut this short. Plus my company is waiting for me for endless gossipping!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! I am just kidding!!! I have to go.... I can smell the corn on the cob cooking in the microwave. It is calling me to eat it!!!! It is soooo fresh and soooo sweet per someone who already tasted it!!!
So, for now, adieu, sayonara..... happy labor day!!!!!! Have a safe, happy and healthy day!!!
