America's Got Talent, 09142010

Another talent show bites the dust!!! The finale of America's Got Talent was heavy with well known celebrities including Usher and David Copperfield! When David Copperfield appeared on stage, I was trying to compare him to Michael Grasso and I can truly say that for me, Michael Grasso is in the league of David Copperfield!!!

What is wrong with Piers Morgan??? This is already the final 4, he buzzed Prince Poppycock!!! He is the cultural ignoramus, not Howie Mandell!!! He should get a nickname of Piers Morgan, aka Trigger Happy X!!!! He said that his performance was too serious!!!Last night, he admitted though that he made a mistake of buzzing Prince Poppycock!! Too late, Piers, the damage was done already which landed Poppycock the 4th place!!! When I heard Trigger Happy X buzzed PP, I was disgusted that if I was in the audience, I would have given him a piece of my mind!!!!

Michael Grimm, the 3 judges gave him a standing ovation!! Everytime he sings, he reminds me of Michael Bolton!!!! I guess he has a unique voice that is taking him to success!!!! Happy Trigger X told him that he could win the coveted million dollar prize and the headliner in Cesar's Las Vegas!!!

Jackie Evancho. What can I say??? She has a very unique voice!!! It is a real gift from up there!!! Before the announcement of the grand prize winner, I wondered though how she will be able to cope with Las Vegas at a tender age of 10??? True, she is gifted and talented, but her childhood years will be gone!!! Will she be like Michael Jackson that in later life begun to act like a child, since he did not get a normal childhood??? Wooo!!! Hold on!!! Maybe Jackie will be different!!! I hope so!!!

Fighting Gravity. They have a very unique and fresh act! I wonder who is the brains in their acts??? One of them??? Or all of them??? They surely deserve to be a headliner in Las Vegas!!!! They do not need to go back to school if they will earn millions!!! After all, with the sad economy, even college graduates are unemployed. Is that what we go to college for??? To earn top notch dollars which today is a thing of the past!!!! Yikes!!! What are you talking about??? Well, I just read that there is indeed a very high unemployment rate and it is not stopping!!! Las Vegas unemployment rate is now 25 %!!! I was sooo shocked to hear that!!! And there is this insurance agent that talks to a lot of people, everytime he talks to someone, when it comes to the question, " what is your job?", the answer is mostly unemployed!!!! This is a harsh and grim reality thet is plaguing America!!!! No wonder there is still many foreclosures, and people are not buying anything!!!! Oh, well, enough.... let us go back to AGT.....

I was soooo surprised that Jackie Evancho lost to Michael Grimm!!! I guess everyone is thinking what I was thinking that she is too young to be a headliner in the sin city!!! Michael Grimm was so shocked when Nick Cannon announced his name!!!

Speaking of Nick Cannon, he was soooo melodramatic and full of suspense!!! I guess that is Nick for you!!!

Congratulations to all 4 finalists, and good luck to all!!!! I was surprised at the outcome, but I am sure that Michael Grimm's grandparents are very happy!!!

America's Got Talent, 09062010

Well, well, well... the 4 finalists at America's Got Talent were finally revealed!!! These acts are really good, and they can already perform in Las Vegas as far as I am concerned!!!! They are that good??? You bet!!! Before I reveal the 4 finalists, let me tell you who were the 10 semi- finalists were the 4 were picked from!!!

The 10 semi- finalists were: Prince Poppycock - singer with outrageous costumes; Christina and Ali - sisters singers; Studio One Young Beast Society - hip hop dancers with gymnastics; Michael Grasso - magician; Fighting Gravity - college guys who performs in the dark; Jackie Evancho - a young soprano; Jeremy Van Schoonhoven - bike daredevil; Anna and Patryk - young ballroom dancers; Michael Grimm - singer; and Taylor Mathews- singer.

Let us start with Prince Poppycock. He always puts on a good show, plus he has a very good operatic voice. And his costumes!!!! Ay..ya..yay... they are outlandish and really seems complicated!!! He said that he picks his materials for his costumes, I wonder if he sews it??? Does anyone know??? How about his makeup??? Does he do that too??? Where did he learn how to do his costumes and makeup, let alone how on earth did he come up with what he is going to do for his next act??? His act with the American theme was excellent!!! Everyone in the audience were on their feet!!! He must have a very good imagination!!! He is very talented, and I really think that he will be good in Las Vegas!!!!

Christina and Ali. Sorry, Ali, but I really think that Christina, the young one, should come back next year by herself!!! She has a very good voice! Her chances would have been better if she was by herself!!! Taylor Mathews is okay, but there are many more good singers in the competition, including Michael Grimm! Michael Grimm sang without his guitar, and the judges were all for it since he could move freely and not restrained by his guitar!!! I wonder if Taylor Mathews get rid of his guitar if he will be better like Michael??? Who knows??? It is too late now!!! There is always a next year!!!

How about Jackie Evancho??? She has a rare gift from God!!! Hopefully her voice will not change since she is soooo young!!! Wow!!!! Her parents has a gold mine in their midst!!! They should nurture her. Jackie seems to be very nice and polite, and her fame has not gotten in her head. Hope she stays that way!!!

Anna and Patryk. I knew that they are not going to the next level because the other acts were better. I was sooo horified when Anna fell down the stairs on their way to the dance floor. But like a true trooper, Anna got up and started dancing!!! But you can sense that she was kind of uptight after the incident. Oh, well, many people have the same mishap. She is not the only one, like the judges told her. I am sure that these 2 will go places with their dancing!!!

Studio One Young Beast Society. The young hip hop dancers that added some hard gymnastics on their dance routine. They executed their act very well but there are better acts than them. They are young and I am sure this will not be the last time that we will be hearing of them!!!

Jeremy Van Schoonhoven. My gosh!!! Is he out of his mind doing the very dangerous things with a bike??? He is really crazy and good with the manipulation of his bike!!! I wonder where he can perform his act??? Will people come and pay to see him??? How about Evil Knevil??? Did people pay to watch him??? There you go!!!

Michael Grasso. I was sooo disappointed that he did not make it to the next round. He was soooo good with his magic!!! I wonder, just like Howie, how he can exchange places and costumes with the other people??? His magic is really polished and very entertaining!!!

Fighting Gravity. These young college guys are very, very good!!! How did they come up with this act??? They have sooo much talent... I really think they already have a spot in Las Vegas!!!! Yes, they are that good!!!

The 4 finalists are Michael Grimm, Prince Poppycock, Fighting Gravity and Jackie Evancho!!! I think Jackie will win, but the others will have a spot in the Vegas limelight!!!!

America's Got Talent, 09012010

Finally, the remaining 5 semi- finalists of America's Got Talent have been unleashed!!! They are the creme of the crop, and the talents ranged from singing to dangerous acts to a 10 year old diva.

Let us start with Nick Cannon, the emcee. Wow, when I saw him on the stage, I was wondering what was he wearing!!! Why??? I thought his outfit was a lounging robe!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! It is probably a very expensive outfit, but to me it reminded me of a lounging robe!!! Has anybody seen it??? Any comments anyone??? Am I an outfit ignoramus???? Ha! Ha! Ha! Thanks, Piers, now I have a new word!!!!

Who were the 12 acts? They are the following: Michael Grasso - magician; Michael Lipari and Ashleigh Dejon - acrobats/ circus; Master Alexander Bui - pianist; Jackie Evancho - 10 year old operatic singer; Murray - magician; Fighting Gravity - fraternity students where the act is done in pitch black; Nathaniel Kenyon - singer; Alice Tan Ridley - singer performing in subways; Studio One Young Beast Society - hip hop dancers; Haspop - dance with a very flexible body; Debra Romer - singer; Jeremy VanSchoonhoven - daredevil bike!

There were 2 magicians: Michael Grasso and Murray. Murray made a large train disappear from the stage, and Michael Grasso, making the lady from the cage disappear, and Michael Grasso disappearing from the stage to appear behind the judges, giving Sharon Osbourne a red rose! Both are good acts, but Michael Grasso's execution was better than Murray.

Maestro Alexander Bui, a young pianist who was superb! Howie Mandell did not get it and gave Bui an X. That is when Piers Morgan called Howie Mandell a " cultural ignoramus." Ha! Ha! Ha! Good for you, Piers, for standing up to a real talent, which the likes of Howie does not understand!!! Now, Howie has a nameplate with cultural ignoramus on it!!!! I think he made the sign just so he can hide his embarrassment!!!! Right??? I just love the show because of the 2 men always on each others throats!!!! Is this real or just a show to make America's Got Talent juicy and entertaining???? What do you guys think??? Poor Sharon, she has to learn to duck in case there ever is a pie throwing or a fist fight!!! Do not pity Sharon, these judges make big, big bucks that you and i will probably never see in our lifetime!!!! You are soooo right!!!! Back to AGT......

Fighting Gravity. How about it??? They are the best new, original act that has graced this planet since the Blue Men!!!! They deserve to already have a show in Las Vegas!!!! I can't just imagine how these college guys came with this idea!!! They are brilliant!!!! Their greatest competitor is Jackie Evancho whose voice is really mind boggling!!! To sing like that at a tender age??? My! my! my! Her parents are soooo lucky.... they have a rare gem in their hands. Hopefully, they will not be as manipulative like the other parents of celebrities and that they will continue to live in peace and harmony!!!!

Debra Romer, the singer, is starting to come out of her coccoon. She is not as timid as before. Although she is not a semi-finalist, I think she will go a long way with her voice and looks!!! In fact, she announced that there are some people that are wanting to pay and sign her up!!! Good for her!!!!

How about Jeremy VanSchoonhoven, the bike daredevil?? Like Sharon says, he is like Evil Knevil. It seems Jeremy is not afraid to try out anything to further himself!! He sure is very brave with all the stunts he has been doing!!!!!

Well, the 5 semi- finalists that will compete with the other five are: Studio One Young Beast Society, Jeremy VanSchoonhoven, Michael Grasso, Jackie Evancho and Fighting Gravity!

We are going to be treated to a good show next week. After all, the best 10 acts will be performing!!! Care to bet who will end up as the winner of the million dollar gig in Las Vegas??? To me, it seems that it will be a toss up between Fighting Gravity and Jackie Evancho!!! How about you, what do you think????

America's Got Talent, 08242010

The last episode of America's Got Talent was really interesting. Why? The show started with 4 acts. These 4 acts were canned!! That is right! The first 4 called on the stage were all eliminated!!!! Who were they?? I do not remember the 4 acts, all I know is that one of them is the ArcAttack!! I could not believe it and so were the judges!!! I wondered if Howie's comment about the television viewers who might not see it as they see it live played a part in the voting??? You think the people's votes were swayed by Howie??? Yes, I do!!! Oh, well.

Kristina Young, singer from you tube received 3 X's from the judges!!! I do not blame them. She did a lousy song, cabaret style, singing on top of the piano!!! Did she think she will make the judges, especially Piers Morgan swoon because of her sexy moves?? She got Piers on her side the last time, but not this time!!! Why did she chose that song and act??? What the heck was she thinking??? She lost her chance to stardom!!!!

Dan Sperry, the magician, was terrible also. For starters, he picked Nick, the emcee to help him!!! Then he blindfolded him, and started to saw his arm. You can tell that when he was sawing Nick Cannon's arm that the arm was darker than Nick's and it looked like a block of wood!!! Everyone did not buy his act!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! He got busted!!!! Nenenenene......That was a sorry magic act!!! Really!!!!

Connor Doran, the kite flyer. The first time I saw him with the kite, it was a charm, now it is getting old and boring. He needs to just go to a kite manufacturer to help him get his invention going!!! I am sure that he will make money with his invention!!! Wanna bet???

How about the others?? Anna and Patryk. Sure, they are excellent ballroom dancers at a young age, but to me their dancing is not worth a million dollars!!! Christina and Ali? There are better singers in the competition. I think they just got the votes because of their story of being able to sing despite their sickness!! Future Punks are adorable, young kids but they still need more practice!! Ascendance, the 4rock climbers need something more in their act! Sure, they were good and very athletic, but they are missing something in their act!! I do not know what it is!!!

Antonio Restivo, magician, there was an element of danger in his act with the fire, but he was ousted by Christina and Ali!!! Surprised??? You bet!!!

There were 3 singers that were called to the stage: Taylor Mathews, who sang while playing the piano, Michael Grimm, singer with a guitar and Prince Poppycock, who has a very unique outfit, makeup and hairdo every time he comes on the stage. He has a very good voice and I think he can have his own show already!!! He has a gimmick, which people will not get tired to see!!!

The 5 acts that will continue to the next round are: Prince Poppycock, Michael Grimm, Taylor Mathews, Kristina and Ali and Anna and Patryk. I think of all the 5, Prince Poppycock has a better chance to dodge elimination and go to the next round. He is that good, eh??? Yup!!! Of all 5!!! I do not know if he will win, because the other acts that he will be fighting for the million dollars are fantastic!!!!

I cannot wait who will go on from the 12 acts next week. I am sure everybody is also anxious. Too bad!!! We have to wait for another week. In the meantime... have a happy, blessed and safe weekend!!!!!

America's Got Talent Wild Card, 08172010

There were 4 wild cards that were picked on last night's episode of America's Got Talent. These 4 acts were really lucky that they were given another chance!!! Did I sense an ulterior motive with the producers for this episode?? Like what??? Prolonging the AGT's program!! More program, more advertisements!!! More advertisements, more money!!!

When the wild card episode started, I thought it was a waste of my time watching it because the performances did not have the wow factor that the judges were looking for. But as the show progressed, I saw some worthy acts that can be in the semi - finals. So, you changed your mind?? Right!!!!

What were the 12 acts??? They were the following: Kruti Dance Academy - Bollywood dance group, Rudy Macaggi - dangerous stunt, CJ Dippa - young rapper, RNG - young hip hop dancers, Harmonica Pierre - harmonica player, Michael Grasso - magic, Hot Shot Tap Dancers -3 brothers and sister tap dancers, Doogie Horner - comedian, Connor Doran - kite flying, Anna and Patryk - young ballroom dancers, Michael Lipari and Ashleigh Dejon - acrobatics, and Swing Shift Sideshow - creepy dangerous act.

What can I say about the acts that performed??? Michael Grasso, the magician was really good!!!! I thought he was good the first time I saw him and I do not know why he did not make it the first time around!!! I thought CJ Dippa, the rapper need more practice if he wants to be the next Eminem!!! I also think he should lose some of his attitude!!! He seems like a little punk to me!!! Harmonica Pierre was good, but I thought he was too ambitious to do a Lady Gaga song, harmonica style!!!! Hot Shot Tap Dancers was boring!!! They need something in their act, and I do not think they can win the million dollar prize!! How about Doogie Horner, the comedian?? Although his material was better and funny, I do not think he can win!!! The kite flying by Connor Doran was really good!!! How can he fly a kite indoor without any wind??? That is the beauty of his act!!! I think though that his act belongs to inventions!!! He should make a ton of money manufacturing and selling it!!! Although Anna and Patryk executed their ballroom dancing to perfection, I do not think that their act is worthy to win!!! How about Michael Lipari and Ashleigh Dejon??? They sure know how to make everybody scared and on edge!!! When Ashleigh went down with a scream, the judges thought there was a disaster!!! Good grief!!! They sure is one act that was edgy and sexy!!! Can they win??? I do not know since there are sooo many acts that are excellent and different!!!

The 4 acts though to go to the next round are Michael Grasso, Anna and Patryk, Connor Doran, and Michael Lipari and Ashleigh Dejon!!! These acts will have to raise their acts to another level to get a shot at the million dollar prize!!!

By the way, what is it with Howie Mandell and Piers Morgan??? Don't they like each other?? Or is this part of the show to make it more interesting??? How about Sharon Osbourne?? As usual, she is the referee!! What do you think guys??? I think this so - called " feuding" by Howie and Piers mahke the show really interesting!!! As they say, there is no dull moment in the show between the 2 silly goose acting like children!!! I think " Mommy" Sharon should put the whining child in a corner and put a hat on him!!! Won't that be a riot??? Which corner of the theater??? That is for Sharon to decide!!! Comments, anyone????

America's Got Talent - You Tube

Well, well, well, America's Got Talent is now going to You Tube to discover new talents!!!!! Did they succeed??? There are some people that has gain instant fame with You Tube that AGT now has to get a piece of the pie!!!! I was really surprised that they did not finish first what they have started. And what??? Lose on the the talents from the internet??? How about the revenue that they will be racking in for starting another venture???? That is top dollars for the producers, baby!!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! I cannot believe you think that way!!!! And what way should I be thinking??? What else would be the ulterior motive for looking for talents in the internet except big bucks that will come along the way???? To discover new talents!!!! Hmmmm....It is hopeless, I will not argue with you!!!

There were 12 acts that the judges selected to audition on the live stage, in front of millions of viewers!! Wow!!! These people are brave to do that..... to transform from their living room in front of just a small camera to a large, live stage??? I applaud these contestants!!!! That is not an easy task!!! The 12 contestants were the following : PLUtonic - an acapello group, Dylan Plummer - jump rope, Pup - singer with a guitar and a dog that plays the accordion, Cam Hodges - singer with a guitar, Ryan Rodriguez - dancer, acrobat or something else??/, Austin Anderson - comedian, Booker Forte - hip hop dancer, Pizza Patt - pizza juggler, Kristina Young - singer, Maestro Alexander Bui - classical pianist, Dan Sperry - magician, and Jackie Evancho - a 10 year old operatic singer!!!!

Wow!!! As you can see there are sooo many different talents taken from the internet. Some are really good, and some just so-so. Take Dylan Plummer, the jumping rope exhibitionist. He can really manipulate the jumping rope in sooo many, wonderful ways. He is really an act by itself!!! Is he worth the million dollars??? I do not think so!!! How about Ryan Rodriguez??? I agree with the judges that you do not know whether he is a dancer, an acrobat or what??? Then there is the pizza juggler, Pizza Patt!!! Boy!!! Can he really juggle the pizza dough!!! I wonder if he has competed in any pizza dough throwing contests???? How about Dan Sperry, the magician??? Yikes!!!! That was gross!!! He had a white lifesaver that he ate, he took it out from his neck with a string!!! That was brilliant but really, really gross!!! When he was finished with his string, it flew towards Howie Mandell!!! You should have seen Howie flying out of his chair!!! That was really, really hilarious!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Piers Morgan was clapping, and Sharon Osbourne was hysterical!!!! The classical pianist, Maestro Alexander Bui was really good. He could have played a better piece!!! Then there was the ultimate act, a ten year old operatic singer, Jackie Evancho!!!! Wowie!!!! How did she get a voice like that at a tender age of 10???? That is really a God given talent!!!! The judges gave her an all expense trip to Orlando, and she has not even won!!!

The 4 acts continuing on their journey are Kristina Young, Maestro Alexander Bui, Dan Sperry and Jackie Evancho!!!! I heard that Jackie Evancho is already booked at the Carnegie Hall in December???? Do you think any of these acts have a chance with Jackie Evancho in their midst??? I do not think so!!!! But at least they already have the exposure that hopefully can aid them in the road to success!!!!

America's Got Talent, 08032010

America's Got Talent semi-finals is still underway!!!! As usual, there were some great acts, and there were some not soooo great!!! The acts ranged from dance groups to dangerous acts. There were some acts that have a wow factor that the judges were looking for, and some that seems to have lowered their standards!! The acts that will be in the semifinals will really be in for a hard feat, because there are sooo many incredible acts already!!!

What are the 12 acts? They are the following: Da Maniacs - a dance group, Nu Covenant - a singing group, Anna and Patryk - a young dance team, Lindsey Stirling - a Mormon violinist, Doogie Horner - comedian, Rudi Macaggi - a dangerous act, Taylor Matthews - a singer, Mary Ellen - a comedian, Arcattack - use of lightning in a music, Prince Poppycock - a tenor, Murray - a magician, and Stikers All Stars - a dance group.

Let us look at some of the acts. Anna and Patryk, a young dance team!!! They are really good, but do they belong to this competition? No, I do not think so!!! The judges share the same sentiment!!!! How about Doogie Horner, the comedian?? I do not think he is that good, but he made Piers Morgan smile!!! How about that!!!! That was a rare sight!!!! To see Piers smile!!!! Wow!!!! Let us take a look at Mary Ellen, the comedian. Howie Mandell really likes her!!! He even wore a wig and makeup to look like her!!! What can I say??? Howie looked ridiculous!!!! Well, at least, Mary Ellen's lipstick is a little better than before!!! Arcattack, how did they produce lightning on stage??? That was really brilliant!!! I wonder if some of them are enginneers??? Then there is Prince Poppycock, the tenor!!! He has outrageous outfits and makeup!!! I thought he looked ugly underneath the costume, but he is not!!! Ha! Ha! He fooled you, didn't he?? Yes, very much!!!! Maybe he thought he will be unique!!! He sure is unique, and he has a very good voice!!!! Why did he not apply in Broadway???? Then, there is Murray, a magician, who does not look like a magician!!!! What does he look like??? A cross between a teacher and a rapper!!!! He look too clean cut to be a rapper!!!! Anyway, his magic was changing the girl in the cage with a tiger!!!! Wow!!! And to top it all, the girl was behind the judges!!!! How did he do that???

Well, tell us who will go to the semi- finals!!!! The 4 acts going through are: Taylor Matthews, Arcattack, Prince Poppycock, and Murray!!! The voting public did a wonderful job of selecting these brilliant acts!!! These 4 acts should try to get their act better to succeed!!!! It will not be an easy task for there are sooo many talented and very unique acts in the show!!!!

We are all in for a really good treat, watching all these talented and unique acts put together!!! Hopefully, these acts will not disappoint us!!!!

Wow!!! I did not realize how many acts were picked by the judges who have to pass another hurdle to go to the semi- finals!!!! There were already 36 acts that performed, and 12 more acts to go!!!! Some of the acts were better in their last 2 performances, a few changed their routine, and some made it a notch better!!!! For sure, those who made it did something more to their acts to give it a wow factor!!!!!

Who were the 12 acts? They were the following: South Philly Vikings - a dance group that seems they belong in a carnival with their costumes; CJ Dippa - a rapper, who probably wants to be the next Eminem; Harmonica Pierre - a Harmonica player; Polina Volchek - hula hoop dancer; The Strange Familiar - a 4 member band with a woman soloist; Haspop - dancer that seems to have soft bones in his body; Luigi - singer; Chipps Cooney - magician; Kaya and Sadie - belly dancers; Jeremy VanSchoonhoven - a bicyclist daredevil; Debra Romer - singer from Kalamazoo, Michigan; and Studio one Young Beast Society - Hip Hop dancers!!!!

Let us go to CJ Dippa, the young rapper boy. Do you think he is the next Eminem??? Possibly!!!! Like Piers Morgan said, he cannot understand one word of what CJ is saying!!!! Whew!!!!! I thought it was just me that did not understand his rap words!!!! Well, well, you are slow, just like Piers!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! That is why Piers and Howie Mandell are always on each others throats!!!! And poor Sharon Osbourne always had to referee them to keep them in place!!!! Speaking of Sharon, she really looked very pretty with her blue dress!!!! I do not know what it is that made her a knockout in her blue dress!!!! It must be that the blue dress complemented her red hair and her complexion!!!! She had a wow factor in this show!!!!

Polina Volchek, the Hula Hoop dancer. She changed her hula hoops to a rope!!!! It was still good, but like Piers said, it was boring!!! How about The Strange Familiar - the 4 member band??? When the soloist started singing, I thought that she should have perforned by herself!!! She has a very good voice!!!! True enough, Piers had the same sentiment like me!!!!The soloist's husband was playing the guitar, and they probably want to be together!!!! That is good, but what do you guys think out there???? Then there was Luigi who was better on his last 2 performances!!!! I think he chose the wrong song, to start with!!!! Plus, it seems that he was very nervous!!!! He missed his chance to shine!!!! How about Chipps Cooney??? The so-called magician??? He blew his chance!!!! Imagine, at his age doing a striptease like Chip n Dale???? Yuck!!!!! How in the heck did he pass the last hurdle???? Howie!!!!! You are a fool to let him go through!!! And dumb Piers and Sharon did not stop Howie!!!! Sharon even asked if Chipps was wearing pampers!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! What a moron!!!! What a humiliating night for Chipps!!!! Shame on you for laughing at him!!!! I was not laughing, I was soooo disgusted!!!! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck!!!!!

Then there was Jeremy Van Schoonhoven, the bicyclist daredevil, whom Sharon called the next Evil Knievel!!!! He did his stunts blindfolded, and he nailed it!!!! How about Debra Romer, the singer??? I think she still need some work!!! I could not believe that Piers gave her a standing ovation!!!! Piers, is it because she is beautiful, and have a good stage presence, besides a good body that shows with her leather figure hugging pants complete with heels????? Needless to say, because of that Howie had a note or two to Piers!!! I am with Howie on Debra, she is good, but not that good!!!! There are better singers in the competition!!!! How about the Studio One Young Beast Society, the Hip Hop dancers???? They are good, but their name is a mouthful!!!!! Where on earth did they come out with that name????

Which acts are going to the semi- finals??? Haspop, Jeremy VanSchoonhoven, Debra Romer, and Studio One Young Beast Society!!!! I think the public and the judges, as usual, made good choices!!!! These 4 acts will have to wait and rest for a week for the last 12 to go through the elimination process!!! Then, these 4 acts will have tough weeks ahead of them with the competition tightening up!!!! Only the best of the best will succeed and go on to the next level!!!!

America's Got Talent, 07202010

America's Got Talent elimination round continues in Hollywood!!! Of the 12 acts, only 4 will go to the semi-finals, and the rest will start their trek back home!!! Well, at least they were able to go to Hollywood with an all expense paid journey!!! That in itself is worth a lot already!!!! Can you imagine being with the elite few out of thousands who auditioned???? These acts were really lucky to go this far!!!! For some this will be the end of their life long dream, but for some, maybe, it is just the beginning of their journey!!!! Some might have the tenacity to keep on trying!!! Who knows??? Maybe for some acts, they just need to polish it!!! There is always a next time, is it not????

The 12 acts were: Cheer SF - a cheering group; Alice Tan Ridley - a singer who made some money singing in the subway; Mona Sampath Dance Company - a Bollywood dance group; Iron Horse - 3 musicians; Strong Man - a nurse who lifted a motorcycle and a car; Ronith - who does impressions of famous people; Hannibal Means - a singer,tenor; Wreckless - group of street dancers; Lil Chris - a young singer; Ascendance - 4 rock climbers; Antonio Restivo - magic with fire; and Michael Grimm - a singer from Mississippi who grew up with his grandmother.

It seems there are more singers in this competition. Will the last ones standing be all singers??? How could you judge singers against magic , rock climbing or dancing?? Ha! Ha! Ha! Why are you soooo worried?? You are not the judge!!!! Like Howie Mandell said the voting public know what they are doing!!!! Leave it to them and the judges!!! Wait!!! I just remembered something. If an act knows many people, then that act will surely win, is it not???? Maybe, maybe not. I think though that the public is really good at the end, only the very best will win!!!! Anyway, you are not a contestant, why worry??? Because the act that is not good might win!!! Ayyayay!!!! Vote then!!!! Do you have to pay to vote for the act you like??? If you do, forget it!!!! How else can they get the million dollar prize money for the best act of the season if they do not resort to a paid voting system???? How about the advertisers??? They pay an arm and a leg!!!! One million would not even put a dent on the money they are getting from their advertisers!!!! Forget it!!! You are sooo cheap!!! Oh, well. Any comments, anyone????

Some of these acts were not really good. Take Ronith who does the impressions. Goodness gracious!!!! How did they pass him to go to Hollywood???? Crazy judges!!!! They just want some people that will be the laughing stock on the show!!!! When he did the impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger, it was sooo dumb with his eyes bulging from the sockets and his shoulders going up!!!! Even the impression of Jim Carrey was really pathetic!!!! He needs more hours of practice to be more proficient!!! Howie Mandell likes him!!!! Oh, ya??? Look at the reactions of Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan!!!! I could go on and on but I think I shoild stop. Good!!!! Knowing you, you will just talk nonstop!!!! You got that right, babe!!!!

Which acts are going to the semi- finals??? The lucky acts that are going to the next round are: Alice Tan Ridley, Ascendance, Antonio Restivo and Michael Grimm!!!! Were they good choices??? From the 12 acts, I believe the voting public and the judges were right!!! But I believe some of these acts will really be fighting for their survival in this talent show because there are sooo many talents that are really exceptional!!!! America's Got Talent, 07142010

It is Hollywood time for America's Got Talent!!! This is the first live elimination of the first 12 acts, where only 4 acts will survive to go to the next round. The first 3 acts will be determined by viewers, and the fourth one by the judges???? From last night's show, the 4th act was determined by the judges, so they say!!! But Nick Cannon said that the last 2 remaining were #4 and # 5 from the viewers!!! That means they picked the same act as the viewers!!!! Why the big fuss about the 4th pick will be from the judges?? The judges, especially Howie Mandell can really act!!! He was shown to really agonize with the selection!!! In reality, the viewers have already picked the 4th winning act that will go to the semi-final per Nick!!!! I do not get it!!!! Any comments??? Did I miss something???

Here are the list of the 12 acts that competed: Kung Fu Heroes, Cristina and Ali - singer sisters, Airpocalypse - lip sync rock stars, Hot Shot Tap dancers - made up of 3 brothers, and 1 sister, Paul Safy, Jr - a singer aspiring to be the next Michael Buble, Future Funk - 5 and 10 year old dancers, Sally Cohn - hand whistler, Nick Pike - dangerous act with fire, RNG - 5 young girl dancers, Maricar - a painter with sexy moves underwater, Fighting Gravity - college fraternity students who perform in pitch black with yellow balls, and Nathaniel Kenyon - a singer who has been performing in elderly homes!!!!These are indeed a bunch of talented performers that were worthy to be on the stage. Nick Pike, the dangerous act, the judges thought that he has so much going on with the fire. I think he will do good in the circus!!! Sally Cohn, the hand whistler! She is really very talented! I wonder how long and how many hours of practice did she have before she became proficient??? I applaud her for even trying!!!! Bravo!!!! How about Maricar, the sexy painter??? She is one heck of a sexy artist, as Piers Morgan said!!! Hmmm... I wonder where she can perform?? Airpocalyse, lip sync wannabe rock stars!!! They are sooo silly and entertaining!!! It reminds me of Milli Vannilli from a long time ago who were just doing lip sync on their concert! Who are you talking about??? The 2 two guys with long braids!!!! Do you still remember them?? That is many, many moons ago!!! Unbelievable!!! Wow!!!! You have a good memory!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! How about Cristina and Ali?? I think the little girl should have sung by herself, and the big sister should just be in the background!!! !!! The little girl has a very good voice!!! Future Funks is very adorable but I do not think they can beat the Fighting Gravity!!!! The Fighting Gravity is really, really good!!! They can be headliners in Vegas!!!!

The show was really entertaining with the guests, Selena Gomez, and Rock of Ages!!! I did not know that Rock of Ages is a show that is curently touring the country!!! I was sooo surprised that Constantine, an ex- American idol is with the group!!! How about that!!!!

Who are the 4 lucky ones to go to the semi- finals???? Dim the lights, please and sound the drums... Wait a minute, Nick did not do it that way!! Sorry, but I am not Nick!!! Phew!!!! Testy! testy! testy!!! Here goes... the 4 winning acts that will proceed to the semi- finals are: Nathaniel Kenyon, singer; Cristina and Ali, singers; Future Funks - dancers; and Fighting Gravity!!!!

America's Got Talent, 07062010

I was going to take a day off from blogging but my sidekick would not let me! What are you talking about??? See what I mean!!!! You miss me, don't ya??? Miss me.... miss me...okay guys, continue with the melody and lyrics!!!!! I think that might have a tendency to be a number one on the billboard charts!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! You are crazy!!!!

After sooo much audition from all over the country, America's Got Talent finally arrived in Las Vegas!!!! It was held at Palms Resort and Casino, and seems the contestants were having a good time in the sin city gambling and looking at the sights!!! This is an elimination round and only 40 contestants will remain to go to Hollywood, the next stop!!!

The three judges were introduced by Nick Cannon, as usual, and Howie Mandell, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan took turns speaking. The competitors were divided into three groups, Group A, Group B, and Group C. Group A has to compete to get a place in the 40 spots for the show in Hollywood, Group B, have to wait for Group A to finish. If there are remaining spots, it will be taken from Group B. Group C does not have to prove themselves in Las Vegas, they have earned their spots already and are on their way to Hollywood!!! They can just watch and enjoy themselves for now!!! That must have been quite a relief to the contestants belonging to Group C! Group C's auditions were very good that they are skipping Las Vegas, and I saw some in that group that were really, really good!!!

The performers were grouped together according to their talents, magicians, comic, harmonica, acrobats, singers, tenors, dancers, and dangerous acts, which I thought was brilliant. Some contestants talent delivery were worst in Las Vegas than where they auditioned originally. Could it be the tension and pressure??? You can surely bet on that! The performers were being watched not only by the judges and audience but also by their fellow contestants backstage on a television set!!! I thought that some picked their material rather wimpy! Like some singers, they sang songs that were not good! Their previous audition had a better wow factor!!! Didn't someone gIve them advise???? Or they thought their song choices were really good for them??

I thought some of the judges pick were outrageous, which included the hand whistler, and the old lady that sang and played the keyboard! How about the magician that was not really performing magic?? He was doing the simple act and telling the audience how it is being done!! He belongs to the comic team!!! The acts were supposed to be only for 90 minutes but the old lady performed for 10 minutes!!! Howie had to get her off the stage, and Piers walk out on her performance!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! How in the heck did she get through to the next phase???? You were laughing, so you know why!!!!! So the judges have something to laugh at!!! Besides, if they do not have these so-so entertainment, the show will not be as entertaining!!! There must be some crazy acts to get more viewers!!!! More viewers, more moolah!!!! Right??? You got it, kiddo!!!! Do not forget, this is show business!!! Anything to get more audience and more green bucks!!!!! Their acts are not really worth one million dollars but we are not the judges!!! If you do not like it, then do not watch it!!! But there are some genuinely unique acts and really worth the time to watch. So what do you do??? Just relax, watch and do not utter a single word!!! The judges have passed their verdicts and it stands for now!!! They will not last for more than one show in Hollywood!!!! Anyone care to bet????

America's Got Talent, 06302010

Chicago, the Windy City, home of the Wrigley Field! This is where the recent audition for America's Got Talent was held. It seems that there were so many talents in Chicago and the judges were so pleased with the outcome of the audition! But not all the people that auditioned were all from Chicago. Some made a special trip just to audition, and for some, it really paid off!!! There were some disgusting audition, of course!!! Will that ever be gone from the show??? Of course not!!!! People think they have a talent that is worth a million dollars!!!! Not!!!! Don't these people ever hear themselves, or do their friends or relatives ever tell them that their talent is for the birds??? I guess not!!!!

What were some of the auditions??? The first guy that auditioned was soooo gross!!!! His talent was to sneeze, with his eyes wide open!!! How did he accomplish this??? That was the disgusting part!!! He had to put a cotton swab inside one of his nose to make himself sneeze! Howie Mandell was sooo grossed out that he walked out from his chair and gave him an X. It seems like Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne were both hypnotized, they cannot tap the X's, so Howie had to do it for them!!! Did he ever sneeze?? It seems the sneeze eluded him once he came on the stage!!! It probably frightened the heck out of him, for doing something sooo stupid!!!! Howie was questioning him about the H1N1 and the airborne viruses that he might be giving to the audience!!!!!! Yikes!!!!! Eeeeekkkk!!!!! People are really, really stupid, disgusting and insane!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Okay, that is enough!!! We get it!!!!

There were the usual dance groups, where some groups are better than the others. Where there some unforgettable dance routine? I do not think so!!! I think this competition has been inundated by dance groups. I was wondering why these dancers did not audition with the other dance competition???? Because these dancers are mostly in a group, and the other dance competition you are talking about is a solo routine!!!!

How about the 24 year old guy, Carlos Aponte, who came all the way from Puerto Rico?? His audition was really something else!!!!! He sang a Spanish song that blew the mind of the judges and the audience!!!! Why??? He was small and when he started singing, everyone cannot believe that it was coming from him!!!! Wow!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! If you have not seen him, and you heard him sing, you would think that he is a big guy!!! He has a big voice coming out from the mouth of a small person!!!! He is a tenor and listening to him will remind you of Luciano Pavarotti or Placido Domingo!!! Is he that good??? Yes, he is that good!!!! In fact, Piers Morgan told Aponte that he had goose bumps listening to him sing!!! Aponte did not know what that meant but thanked him anyway!!! That is what I call, a real talent!!!! Sheeeshhh!!!! With that kind of voice, I think this guy will go very, very far in his career!!!

Then there was this strong man. He is a Registered Nurse! What??? They must really like him in the hospital where he works!!! He probably can lift sooo many people all at once!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! You are crazy!!! What did he do? Besides carrying a big boulder to the stage, he bent a frying pan to the size of a telescope!!! Piers Morgan X'd him and could not believe him!!! He thought that the frying pan was just a soft pan. Sharon and Howie challenged him to straighten the pan! Piers was a very sorry sight with the pan!!! He could not even budge it!!! The pan was given back to the strong man, and presto! the pan was back to its original shape!!! The strong man did it in a jiffy!!! No sweat!!!! You should have seen Piers after this!!!! Ha! Ha! Piers!!!! You are a wimp!!!! That is what you get for being cocky!!!!

The last person to audition was a singer from Kalamazoo, Michigan. She had a good voice but it seemed that she lacked self confidence!!! Howie would not let her through to the next round because he thought she was not ready yet!!! How about the other judges??? Piers gave her a chance, but it took some prompting and convincing from the audience and the singer for Sharon to give her a chance!!! That is really good!!!! Now, lady, you have your once in a lifetime chance!!!! Do not blow it!!!!!
